Why are the pictures taken with my DSLR unclear/blurry?
I bought myself a DSLR, a Nikon D3200 with the 18-55mm lens, and the pictures are not that clear?
They look fine when not zoomed in, but even zooming in a little bit it shows that they are not sharp (at 24.2mp they should be!), and it almost looks like the lens isn't powerful enough to focus it for the amount of pixels… Could this be the reason? Either way, I can see the pixels and the image is definitely no way near the sharpness of the pixels.
Here's a picture example, which looks fine:
But when you zoom in in the top right of the bridge, you can see that the picture is not that sharp or unfocused:
I know it doesn't really look bad, but when the image is enlarged it is quite apparent.
Why does this do this? Is this the lens that cannot focus it sharply (what lens do you recommend then?), or what?
Here's the information about the camera settings when I took it (although it's like this for all images):
F-stop f/10
Exposure time 1/250 sec.
ISO 400
Focal length 55mm
Bit Depth 24
Format Compressed RAW (12-bit)
I am new to photography so anything would help!
Thanks!
Added (1). Also, I haven't done any "sharpening" to the image as it just makes it look worse. I've edited white balance, etc, but is looks the same before the edit.

How to know if my camera is brand new?
I bought a Nikon D610 from Amazon, it had smudge marks (hand prints) on the camera and all accessories were not in original packages, so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement came in, still has smudge marks but all the accessories are in original packages. I wonder if the smudge marks are by the inspectors or my camera was actually used.
Is there a way to find out?
Many thanks!

Nikon Af-s 50mm 1.8g vs 55-200mm vr?
Both are af-s lenses that will work with a dx camera.
Which one would be the best in:
â¢Image quality
â¢Fastest/Action
â¢Low light
â¢Distortion free
Thank you, please explain in SIMPLE terms.
NO I opted to NOT get a "Kit" lens so CANNOT set my "kit lens" to those things, and see which one I use the most.

I want to get a camera but I can't find anything to photograhp?
I'm interested in getting a nikon camera, I have enough money for one but I haven't bought one yet, for the past week I've borrowed my friends camera to get a feel for one and decide wheather or not to get one.
The first day I got the camera I probably took 150+ pictures. Now that I've had the camera for a week I've been taking less and less pictures. I haven't lost interest it's just there is nothing to take pictures of.
When I do get a good picture I get happy and I show it to my family.
My questions are:
Should I go ahead and buy the camera even though there isn't massive ammounts to photograhp? (I walk in the country side and thought woods etc)

When you started off as an amateur did any of you have the same attitude I'm having?
