Nikon D5200 Long Exposure Error. Star photos, red line across photo. Help?!

Added (1). This was taken at various ISO sensitivities. All were 30 seconds at f/3.5. They all have red marks at the bottom and I dont know why! The ISO range I tested with was 3200-25600

Digital SLR For Pictures and Video & Audio recording?

Hello all,

I'm planning to buy a DSLR to take pictures and record video and audio
and mount it to a tripod
(Not to do professionally, but hobby/interest like).

This will be my first DSLR, i've only owned regular digital cameras in the past.
I do have some experience with DSLR's but not a lot (but i'm willing to learn).
I've been looking a lot at the Canon Rebel series, Nikon, and Samsung

I guess these are my perimeters:
- DSLR
- Max $800
- Newbie friendly but still good for more experienced persons (if not possible then, more experienced)
- Comes with a lens? (Unless you guys know how to get a good body and lens for under $800)
- Mountable on a Tripod

Added (1). Update #1: When I said $800, I meant after taxes as well… So I live in Toronto so its 13% so
whatever retail is, its multiplied by 1.13 D:

My camera wont auto focus?

I have a Nikon d5100 with a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens. I try to go to the info section where i am told there is supposed to be a section sayin AF or AFS but there isnt. Do I have the wrong type of lens or am i doing something wrong?

Do you have to add PC syc and HotShoe voltages together?

I have a Nikon D200 and two flash units. One attaches to the Hotshoe and the other with a PC sync cable. The one on the cable is old and has a 234V trigger. The other flash is a Nikon SB-20 with a 5.5V trigger. Will I have to add these voltages up to see if it's under the rated max voltage (Which is 250V. I know they add up to less than that but I'm a bit oo err with the old flash by it's self) or do the connectors have their own separate max voltages? Thanks

light meter app shows ISO200 f2 T250
but FM2 goes negative with the same setting

Nikon D3100 Football game setting help?!

I have a Nikon D3100 and a AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G ED lens, and an upcoming football game. I was wondering what would be the best settings to take pictures of the players and cheerleaders and crowd. I do not have a tripod. Just me and my camera! Please help me! ;-;
