Does Canon have DX type lenses for there cropped body's?

Like with Nikon they have DX - cropped FX- full frame. So on Canon is it the same thing between there FF and cropped camera's?

I recorded a video without sound?

Not too long ago I recorded a talk that was given by someone. I used a Nikon D3300 DSLR camera. I inserted an external microphone to the camera to make the audio better than what the DSLR offers as the standard/stock audio.

The problem is that I didnt check that I left the microphone turned off. For this reason the video was being recorded without sound, or in other words the video came muted.

Is it possible to un-mute or add the sound after the initial recording? Or is this altogether impossible?

I saved a lot of money whats worth buying the canon 5ds, 5d mark iii, nikon d810?

i know canon 5ds is 50mp mark 3 22mp nikon d810 36mp which one is worth buying i m sucka for high mp that excellent but i want a camera that can do it give great image quality/ video i m not really to bothered im looking for a particular full frame to do it all street photography, landscape, portraits

could you also give me a few suggestions on excellent lens for portraits

I am planning to buy my first DSLR camera between 30 -40K. I came across CANON & NIKON. I prefer to buy NIKON 5300. As i am beginner / enthusiast guy can you suggest is this good choice or help me by ur chice. Thanks in advance.

I dropped my Nikon Lens?

Everything see,s to work fine. I don't see any physical damage since it was in a bag when I dropped it. But whenever I autofocus, I can hear the motor running now. It will run every time I'm holding the autofocus and will stop about a second later after I release the autofocus. Autofocus still runs fast as usual.
