Would it be a good idea to buy a Nikon d5100 body and sell my d3100?

I bought a nikon d3100 off of craigslist for $300 that came with 2 lens. The camera and everything came in perfect condition. Recently I came across a nikon d5100 body getting sold for $300 also. Would it be a good idea to sell my d3100 body and buy the d5100 for $300?

Continuous shooting with flash?

i have a nikon d3200 and was wondering if its possible to have the flash go off with every picture taken when i do continuous shots?

Video editing, After effect, Movies?

Hi, me and my friends are shooting a short film. When we edit the 2 minutes video in after effects it changes size from 150 MB to 2 GB. I don't know what is the problem, we only use color correction. I know some converters which make 2 GB to 25 MB, but after the quality of the video is very bad.

I don't understand. In Hollywood they use RED cameras and the size of the movie (1080p, bluray) is 25 GB. Any advice?

The cameras we use is Nikon D3100 and Canon SX 40 HS.

Which one should I buy? The 1.4 is much more expensive. I don't know if I should buy it if I don't get much difference from the 1.8. Which would you buy?

Why is my Nikon D3200 Taking grainy pictures?

I recently purchased a Nikon D3200. I am shooting a short film and so far this has been the best camera I've used for film making (A major step up from a camcorder.) At first my D3200 kept taking great pictures, but slowly it started getting worst. On the second day my ISO setting didn't allow me to put it on auto ISO, and now about 1 day ago it started taking grainy pictures. What's going on? I checked the setting and even reset them. As for picture I took for my actors durring my short film, they we're grainy especially when it was really sunny and not one bit sunny outside. I need it to shoot some good pictures in broad daylight. What's going on?

(My ISO was at 100 when I shot pictures.)

Is the AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR a good lens?

I'm an amateur photographer and I'm interested in buying this lens. I have a Nikon D5100, and I want to upgrade from the 18-55mm lens that the camera came with. Does anyone have this lens? How well does it perform? Is it compatible with my D5100? I'm interested in taking more portraits, sports, and nature/landscape, is this a good lens for these subjects?
