My Nikon D70 screen is black all the time?!

Yesterday, I got a Nikon D70 from my uncle (not brand new either). He mentioned that he couldn't use the screen and since I'm a first time camera user I didn't think it was a big deal… But now that I know, IT IS! I can't view or delete photos, use the settings, or even some of the buttons on the camera cause of it! What can I do?!

Advantages of 35mm over digital?

I would like to know the advantages of shooting on film vs a digital format. I normally shoot on either. I use 35mm film, super 8mm, 16mm. But I also have two Sony Alphas, a Canon DSLR and a Nikon DSLR.

I've been working with both formats for years now, but I would like to hear from you.

Why does my Nikon D3200 only record for 3 - 7 seconds?

I had this problem before and I am sure that I did something on my camera and It went back to normal.
But I think I must have accidently pressed something again and it has gone back to only recording for seconds, and then it says "Recording interrupted. Please wait"

Please help!

Best lenses for indoor lighting?

I take a lot of pictures inside in poor lighting, and my photos are always dark and grainy. I need a lens that's better for these types of situations. I don't want to spend more that $500. The cheaper the better. I have a Nikon D5100. Any ideas on what I should get?

Lost all photos from computer/camera?

Hi. I've been in London for the weekend and when I came to put the photos from my Nikon D3100 onto my computer, they vanished.
I plugged the camera in as normal, selected the photos I wanted, created a new folder and moved the photos to it
When I opened photoshop, the folder wasn't there. So I checked in my pictures library, and it wasn't there either. I checked on my camera, and the selected photos weren't on there either.

I'm quite upset about this, and I've unplugged and replugged it into my computer twice and removed the SD card once. Help, please?

I want to utilize a batch of cheap webcams as standalone surveillance cameras?

these are usb cameras, made by Hercules for Ubisoft or some such (packaged for the Wii). I opened one up, there are maybe 3 ics and a bunch of other (passive) components mostly. Obviously this can be done readily with a single board computer with usb ports and an sd card slot. Can anyone make any recommendation?

Would also like to alter the firmware in my Nikon L105 camera to make it record longer then 30 minutes of video. Need help. Would I be endangering the hardware by doing this? IOW would the extra heat be detrimental? I imagine a fan installed in a judicious fashion would alleviate that.
