Good affordable DSLR cameras with a flip out screen?
I'm i the market to buy a new DSLR because mine recently broke. My only 2 requirements in that it needs to be under $400 and I would like for it to have a flip out screen, if not it's ok. Any brand is fine but I prefer Canon or nikon. Thanks in advance!

Which camera to buy: Canon EOS 1200D DSLR or Sony Alpha3000(A3000) Mirrorless?
I have a set budget and confused which one to go for. I am a photography enthusiast and need the camera for personal reasons, not proffesional photography
I am a die-hard Canon fan, I have used cheap digicams from Canon that has taken excellent shots, I have tried Nikon and Fujifilm cameras too but both have really bad quality, I really think Canon is the best
however I have recently noticed Sony mirrorless cameras are capable of taking excellent,HD quality pictures
recently a friend of mine got the Alpha3000 and her pictures are just out of the world quality such clarity, detail excellent pictures
keep in mind this friend is a begineer and has in the past taken shitty pics with nikon camera so it is surely the camera that is good and not the photographer, she is an amateur begineer, more so than me
however the sony is a mirrorless camera, and I want a proper DSLR, the 1200D is an entry level DSLR but still a DSLR means many features and options to work your skills
Currently I do not have budget for more high end DSLRs
Please suggest
Added (1). also both camera have a 18-55 mm lense, however I can buy any canon lense in the future and use with the EOS1200D, with sony I am struck with one lense forever

How to get sharp photos?
I am trying very hard to get sharp photos. I guess you can look at my deviant art page for some of my photographs http://thedotisagenius.deviantart.com/
When I go out to shoot photographs I come home with a photograph that gets worse in guilty the further I zoom in.
I want to be able to print the photographs to hang on the wall. A decent sized poster for somebody to have on their wall at least.
I have a Sony A6000 if this helps with a power zoom kit letns 16-55 that came with the camera
I also have a Nikon D5000. Also kit lens 18-55.
Thank you for the help.

Help about the Sigma 30mm 1.4 lens?!
So I really want to buy the sigma lens, but buying it new is way too pricey for me so I'm looking on eBay. I'm confused though that there are different versions of the sigma lens. For ex: DC vs DG and lens made for NIKON or Canon or Sigma.
I have a canon t3i and I'm trying to figure out what versions of the sigma lens will work.
Please help:)
Added (1). the one I'm really wondering about is called: SIGMA 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM For SIGMA AF +++NEAR MINT in BOX+++From JAPAN #258
would this work for the canon t3i, or just for Sigma cameras?

Does camera flash affect cats?
I just took a picture of myself with flash by accident, and my cat was sleeping next to me. It wasn't a direct flash, but it was close to him. I have a small nikon camera, the flash is not so strong. I waved my finger in front of him, he seemed to follow it with his eyes/head. Will he be fine? I'm really worried, do cats go blind easily? Am I worrying too much? It wasn't a direct flash, just a side flash. It didn't scare him too much. BTW, he's 2 years old.

What lens do I get first?
So I have got a Nikon D3300, I love photography as a hobby and want to take it to another level. What lens should I get next. At the moment I have got the 18-55 kit lens which really doesn't zoom far enough.

Help picking a mid-level camera?
I am looking for a digital camera I can purchase on Amazon (it's a gift card) for at or below $150. In order of most important:
#1 price - if I HAVE to I could save up to a limit of $375…$100-$200 is better though
#2 compatibility w/a shutter remote (would appreciate if you know a good one too)
#3 compatible w/most tripods (I already have 2)
#4 anti-shake/stabilizer
#5 resolution/quality of still image
#6 SIGNIFICANT superiority to smartphones & tablets
#7 BONUS video quality - including ability to pick up sound from a few feet away
I need a nonbiased person ideally someone who can tell me the REAL difference between "new", "used", & "refurbished"… I've always gone for brands I recognized & only brand new but am trying to keep an open mind
I got a chance to see the Nikon S1 being used and was impressed tho don't know if it will fulfill my remote shutter accessory requirement (I don't expect is to be included but MUST be compatible) but is DOES have the option to switch lenses like my old one, the only other downside I could see is, according to this Amazon listing for this:
Nikon 1 S1 10.1MP Red Digital Camera with 11-27.5mm Lens (Certified Refurbished) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00THM31D0/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_FqOAvb03N097S
which an identical (though refurbished) cam to the mom's cam is that it is only 10 megapixels and I was hoping for at least 12 if not even as high as 16.
