Should I pick a SONY dslt over a CANON/NIKON dslr?

People always told me sony's sensor might be better than Nikon n canon but the lense selection for future is only a little.

What should I do? Now i am choosing between nex 5n, a57 and Nikon d5100

Hi everyone, after I took several pictures with my camera and want to do time lapse, what program can I use to see it. I hope someone out there can give me an idea of a program (I hope free) so I can see my time lapse, thanks.

Nikon fm light seal repair and cleaning?

I recently bought a Nikon fm 35mm camera, and the light seals are basicaly gone, and the mirror is extremly dirty.
Where can I get this fixed and any idea how much it will cost

Camera BatteryProblems?

I just took out my dads camera from over 15 ears ago and the battery didnt seem to work. I tried buying a new one and after allthe work to finally find one that would work it STILL doesnt work. The battery has a charge and everything so i think its a prblem with the powerr reaching the camera… is there any way to fix it? its a Nikon FG.Do i need to buy a new camera body or is it fixable please help :)

Macro Lens for Nikon D3100? - 1

Hi, I'm really into photography, especially macro photography. I've taken classes and know how to use my camera (Nikon D3100) to its full extent. I want to get started with some macro photography now, but need help picking the right macro lens for my camera. I photograph a lot and would like a macro lens that can get pretty close up, but the cheaper the better.

My nikon d40 takes black images?

I have a nikon d40 and when i take a picture the image shows up black on the LCD screen and when i pop the card in the computer the image is still all black.It seems to be doing everything right to take the picture but there is NO PICTURE… im going crazy, will someone please help me before i throw it down the street… ;(

I have a Nikon AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm 1:3.5G ED, and I love it!!, but I want more magnification that i can add to it so I can get even closer to my Subjects… I heard there is a 1.4x telephoto add on that i can put on the micro lens, is this true?, or is there another adapter i need to buy…

Wide angle camera lenses fitting nikon d5100?

I am looking for a wide angle lens to fit my new d5100, in was looking at the Nikon 14-24 F/2.8 but that is WAYY TO PRICEY FOR ME (unless someone would sell me one second hand a bit cheaper) are there any other nikon wide angle lenses? or are there any sigma or tamron for a bit less that will still fit my camera? links to sales or auctions for some would be nice :)
