Good DSLR for a second camera?

So I currently have a Nikon d3100 with 18-55 kit lens. I'm 18 and I'm going to uni in September to study photography. I've been thinking about getting a new dslr to replace mine as I've had it for two years.

Can anyone suggest a good one? Or any particular make? Or lenses to improve shots taken with my current Nikon?

Price range is up to £1000 but ideally around £6-700

Thanks in advance

Which camera should I go with?

I'm not really a beginner at photography, I've worked as a photographer(in studios) for 10 years on and off. But I'm in the market to buy my 1st dslr. I've always worked with Nikon cameras and even my point and shoot is nikon. However i recently used a friend's Canon and I loved it. The two I'm torn over are the rebel t3i and the nikon d3200 (leaning towards this one). Or if someone has another suggestion for a good entry level dslr.As long as its price comparable to the other 2. Thanks!

How to take pictures of sky lanterns?

We are letting some sky lanterns go on the beach at night and I want to be able to take photos. I like using my disposable camera, but I was wondering if that would work? If so would I turn on the flash? And what about if people are in it?
I also have a Nikon one digital camera. Will the photos come out well on that? With the same questions above about people and flash.
Thank you!

Noise on night HDR photos!

Ok so I am doing HDR on night photos, I always keep my iso at 100, and my initial photos don't have noise, but when I put them through Photomatix I get a lot of noise on them, even-though I select the noise reduction setup. Is it because I have an entry model Nikon D5200, or is there a way to avoid it or fix it?

How to manually focus with a Nikon D90 whilst filming?

So whenever I film with my Nikon D90 I find that if people come closer than what they started at they become out of focus. I assume the only way to refocus is manual so can someone talk through how this is done?

Which camera should I invest in? (expert opinion please)?

So I have been looking at different DSLR cameras for a while and there are just so many to choose from I would like an expert opinion on which camera would be the worthwhile. I have narrowed it down to a couple of choices the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 or the Samsung NX20 20.3MP. I haven't really looked at any Nikon cameras but i have looked into leica cameras (too expensive for now). I mainly want to use it for personal pictures in outdoor settings and i would like to invest in a smaller camera to take around. I am a beginner photographer and have never had a DSLR, which should i buy?

What type of camera should an amateur photographer get?

The question kind of sums up everything. I'm new to the photography world and I would like to know this. Which brand is also the best or better; Nikon or Canon?

Recommended DSLR cameras? - 1

I'm thinking of buying a DSLR. I'm not sure if I should get Canon or Nikon and there are so many different cameras to choose from. I was thinking maybe a 650d or 60d, haven't touched on Nikon yet.

Something under $1000 would be great. And with decent/good quality.

(And just an extra question- what real life stores are the best to buy DSLRs from? I live in Australia.)

Thanks. :)
