So I want a cannon or Nikon I want a nice camera that's takes great pictures and really amazing video.i want one around 250 or 300 and they can be used and when you buy used from amazon dose it work? Good refurbished i mean I would save a lot of money but don't want.To throw away money and has a flash

Trying to narrow down my photos for a portfolio for college. Since these are all from the same shoot I'm not sure whether I want include just one of them or include two and present them as a set/series.

Looking to buy a film camera, which is better?

I've always used digital so now I'm looking to move onto film cameras. I've looked at a few and started liking Pentax Spotmatic 35mm, Nikon F3HP 35mm and Nikon FM2 35mm. I'm open to other suggestions and pros and cons about the ones I have listed. I'm really looking to start in film so an overly complex camera isn't really ideal.

What wide angle and macro lenses for Nikon D3100?

I'm looking to buy some new lenses for my Nikon D3100. Mainly a macro lens and a wide angle. I'm fairly new to both of these and am looking for any advice on what i should look for. I don't have a large budget unfortunatley and was shown these two lenses which i would appreciate any opinions of!

What Flash Gun to get for Nikon D3100?

I'm looking to buy a fairly cheap flash gun for my Nikon D3100. I'm looking at the Jessops 360AFD

How should I feel? Angry, frustrated, etc?

My brother is going on vacation and he has a Canon camera EOS DSLR, miniature Canon camera, and a Lumix Compact Camera. The Canon camera and Lumix Compact Camera are not the best quality but he is going to bring the Lumix one. I have a Nikon J1 Camera, which is compact and relatively good. He just stole the camera from my purse while I was at school and he wants to use it because it is compact and good in his opinion. He didn't even ask me to use it. How should I feel about this?

What digital Nikon camera can I use my old SR lenses with?

I'd like to buy a new digital Nikon camera. I have a lot of AF lenses I used with my Nikon SRL? Is there a digital Nikon that will allow me to use my older lenses?
Added (1). Thanks for the information. I'm a hobby photographer, but do have some nice older lenses, including macro 500mm telephoto. I did forgot to include my budget-its below $1500US. The less the better. If possible I'd love to get a camera that includes an option (or whatever its called) that helps with camera shake. I've developed RA and my meds have caused alot of hand shaking.

Which is more important, the DSLR body or the lens?

I am a beginner, and am interested in buying the Nikon d5100 or the d90. The D90 seems like it produces better quality images, however the d5100 is much more to my budget.So does it really matter if I buy a more expensive camera? Or does the key to great images lie with what lenses you purchase?

Setting aperture on Nikon D lenses?

I want to know what will happen if I set focal length 70mm and aperture 3.3 on a Nikkor 35-70mm f3.3-4.5 lens. Second question is how to set aperture on a D lens while using a digital camera. Thanks for the answers.

I want a nice camera that take good pics and videos bit the limit on money is 100 to 250 I want a nice brand like Sony Nikon cannon I had bad luck with off brands so only buy name brads now.

And my parents work there *** off just to get by so they can't aford for me to get help so I it's hard than *** to spell. Broken Nikon D40 flash, how much to fix?

It took a fall off of my bed. The flash clicks to pop up, but won't open (I've unscrewed it and found the small trigger piece has actually broken). The flash will go off if it is up or not. When I manually flip it open and it flashes, it overexposes whatever I take a picture of. Like, the flash is a lot brighter than normal. I know I can buy an external flash and all, but does anyone know what is causing this problem? - or does anyone know how much it costs to ship and fix it?

I just got a Nikon 1 J1 and took some pictures and video. When I downloaded the pictures from the SD card to my computer I could see the pictures and the stills I took while taking video but not the video itself.
