Good Nikon lens for sporting photography?

Ok so i have a Nikon D3200 with the 18-55mm lens
im wanting to take sport photography specifically swimming, diving, and football

i like the lens that came with the camera, its great for portraits and weddings that i've done, but i know i need a slightly better one for sports
i do have a budget im not wanting to go over $600.00

im looking at
Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens
Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED Telephoto Zoom Lens

i want one that has good zoom, yet can capture mid air shots of divers, some clarity of strokes from swimmers, and un-blurried shots of football plays

so if you think those are good lens or one is better then the other or if you know of a better lens that would help me take the kind of pictures i want better please do help with all info you can

Nikon D3000 autofocus problems!

I have had my D3000 for about two years and I have never came across this problem. I can't take a photo when I'm in any mode besides guide or when I press the AE-L/AF-L button but the photos come out blurry. I have reset my camera and my shooting options but it still won't focus.My focus mode IS on autofocus. I have the original 18-55 mm lens the camera come with and I would like to know if this is a problem I can fix or if I should take it to a shop.

Recently I had a problem with my photos where the bottom half would be black, I figured out it was a mirror problem and I fixed it. Now my autofocus won't work, could these problems be related and can I fix the autofocus problem in a small amount of time?

My Nikon D50 Manual Setting isn't working?

Hi, I have a question about my Nikon D50. I don't have a manual for this camera, so that's why I'm coming to you guys for help! Okay, so my Nikon manual mode says it's in night portrait mode, and my night portrait mode, says it's in macro mode.So I have two macro modes on my camera. I've tried resetting the menu and restoring the factory settings but this did not work. I don't know how this happened. This camera is used, I got it from my sister who gave it to me, and I'm not sure if she did something to it or now. This issues is really annoying, especially when I'm taking photography classes and I'm supposed to be using manual mode. I'm not able to get the pictures I want without it. Please if you have any advice on this issue, share it!

SDXC Not Compatible With Camera?

I Just Bought an SD Card for my camera and when inserted into my camera (Nikon D40) It says "Card is full" I Have Tried formatting the card in disk utility but that doesn't seem to work. I think my Camera may not be compatible with the SD card as it is an SD-XC and more modern.Is there any way I could make it compatible?

By the way, I use a Macbook Pro, 64GB Sandisk SD-XC Card, And A Nikon D40 Camera.

I am having diffuculty to decide which one to buy. A 32 inch LED TV, or a 35mm prime lens?

I am planning to buy a nikkor 35mm 1.8G prime lens in addition to my arsenal. While I am at the mall, I saw this Devant 32inch LED TV. Now I am starting to decide which one to buy with the budget I have. Please help justify.
Added (1). My first priority actually was the prime lens since I am into photography. But I also realized I need a TV as well.since I don't have a TV in my room. I only use my desktop computer to watch movies and episodes. What really got me in considering the Devant LED TV is they are on sale!

Hey! I Have a Nikon D3200. I've gotten into concert photography and need a lens that I can zoom in on the subject and that works well in low light situations. Also could you recommend any other lens/ bodies that would be good for concert photography. Thanks

Best walk-around lens for d7100?

Ill try to describe best what im looking for in a lens and see if any of you have any recommendations.Im buying the nikon d7100 body only and need a lens that's better than the kit. Ill be taking photography school and hopefully making a career out of it so id rather have a better lens right off the bat than the kit lens which will potentially only last me a little while.Id prefer a zoom, all in one lens but the quality of multiple lenses seems to be too appealing to me. Point being, im looking for a walk around lens that doesn't have a huge zoom but does great from a small range. A lens that i can do everything with for the most part, Portraits, landscapes, flowers. Maybe there is no such lens and im grasping for a needle in a hay stack.My limits for a lens is $800 not a penny more.i was previously looking at 16-85VR but not sure if that's a good lens or not. Any recommendations are great. -thanks in advance.
