Nikon D7100 Selective Autofocus Not Working?

So I've had my D7100 for two months now. And since the beginning, I've been using single point, selective autofocus. For the past week or two, it sat on top of my desk untouched and undisturbed. I picked it up last night and the settings were still the same. Tried to start shooting, and the focus point wouldn't move!

I've messed with the settings, reset the settings, took off and replaced the lens, inspected it for any damage, checked the manual, and searched around the Internet for answers, but no luck. The arrows work fine when flipping through pictures, so it's not broken. Regular autofocus works fine, as well.So I'm at a lost. Anyone else experience this? And does anyone know how I can fix it/what I'm doing wrong???

How to auto-focus Nikon d3100 during video?

Hi, so I just bought a used nikon d3100 a week ago with the 18-55mm lens. I love the way it takes pictures but i'm trying to shoot videos of myself and it won't auto-focus! I have to do it manually or have someone else do it. I have in viewfinder, auto, VR is on, and it won't automatically focus when i'm taking a video! Is there a way to adjust a setting on the camera so it will? Or should I try returning the camera because it's bad?

How to get the back lcd to come on, on a Nikon D200?

I purchased a used nikon D200 from goodwill
And cant figure out how to get the back lcd to come on.It has a lense and a flash attached to it but no mamory card.

How come my pictures are not well-focused?

Lately, when I go to take pictures with my Nikon d3100, they appear crisp through the viewfinder, but when I view them on my computer, they appear out of focus.It's not awful, but it just makes the pictures look bad. I know that the d3100 isn't the highest of quality, but it should produce pretty good pictures. What do you think?

Buying a refurbished Nikon?

I wanna buy a REFURBISHED Nikon D3100 from Adorama.com. The camera is factory refurbished from Nikon U. S.A. I wanted to know if the camera would show wear and tear or would it look brand new, feel brand new, and act brand new? It would be nice to buy the camera at a cheaper price.It is about $150 cheaper. Any help?

Should I upgrade from my Nikon D3100?

I've had my trusty Nikon for about 2 years now and ive gained some great experience from it but I will soon be starting a new photography course soon and I know people say its not about the camera its about the photographer and I agree with that but I feel if I upgrade I can open a whole new playing field and gain more experience, you don't see the professionals carrying around entry level cameras

Should I take a leap and go to full frame? Or just something more pro? I'd like to stick with nikon and price isn't a huge issue thankyou so much! opinions welcome :)
