I'm a beginner photographer and would like some tips and help?

I'm a young beginner photographer, but I really love photography. I love nature pictures and scenery. I use a Nikon D3100 18-55mm and 150-250mm(something like that, sorry I really don't remember.) Anyway, I would like some tips and tricks for making my photography better… I can't post any pictures of it, but what are some good things to take a picture of… Ideas?

Help with Nikon D5000 please?

It isn't reading any of my memory cards. I tried many cards and I keep getting "Cannot format memory card. Card maybe defective. Insert another card."
I tried formatting it on my Mac but I keep getting the same error message.

Nikon D7000 Frames per second promblem?

I have my Nikon D7000 set on continuous high and I think I have it set to take 6 frames per second, but when I press the shutter release button the camera only takes a single frame still. Any ideas of what might be over riding my settings or what I might be missing?

Digital camera buying?

Hello! This summer I'm going to be traveling a lot, and I want to buy a good quality digital camera. I want one with really awesome zoom and focus.My Vivitar camera, if I even so much as take a breath, my picture is blurry.So a camera that isn't so sensitive to movement would be great. I was looking into Kodak, and Nikon. Which one is more reliable? Which one has better quality pictures? Which one is better for people with shaky hands? Please help. Thanks. :)

Can i order from Costco In US even though I live in the UK?

I wanted to order a DSLR Bundle from Costco in the US because it is more value for money than in the UK. But I wanted to know if I can do that?

Is it wise to buy a used DSLR from Amazon?

I'm planning to get a DSLR, Canon 5d mark 3 used or nikon d800 (new or used).
for example on Amazon, the seller wants to sell his Nikon d800 for 2400$ only. He wrote:
Used - Like New
Perfect condition, no scratches, no problems. Only used once indoors, took about 250 shots. Comes with all original accessories, manuals, packaging, box, etc. Includes unused warranty card. Only selling because I decided to stick with my d700.

i live in other continent, He's from the usa. How can i make sure that the DSLR is in perfect condition.

PS: i'm planning to get a used DSLR to save money for the (lenses, bag, uv filter, flash, cleaning kit,… )

my budget is 3600$ and i'm trying to assemble the perfect kit before buying all the items.

any suggestion? (advice for buying from a trustful resource, and cheap… )
Do i get all the items from one seller? (to save up for the customs and taxes?

My main shooting purpose:
making short films, shooting in weddings (i won't be the main shooter,), shooting nature, and some low light situations…

Camera Phone advice - need both - no idea what to get?

I wanted to ask you what you think I should get for a camera or camera/phone that would be small enough to pocket and be able to take quality landscape photos when horseback riding for example that are able to be enlarged (most likely larger than 11 x 15) and still maintain high resolution. I need the camera also to x be able to take pics of my bakery cakes that I make. Any suggestions, as I am not tech savvy at all. I don't want to buy too much camera but no limits either. I was worried that the low megapixels (under 3) in the camera phones wouldn't work for enlarging. Can't lug around a bulky professional one riding horses or too my job, and really need a new cell phone anyway.

Something important is speed - I have a nikon and a canon powershot, and they take way to long to take the picture and be ready to take another.

Dslr photography problem?

I use a nikon d5100 camera. When I viewed photos from the camera's LCD display, they looks well saturated, colourful and vibrant. However when viewed from a computer display they look somewhat dull with less saturation. I tried with several computer monitors as well as a LED TV display. But the result is the same. What will be wrong. I'm not an advanced photographer but I have a basic knowledge to handle a DSLR.Is it a problem with my photography skills and techniques? How can i overcome this problem?

Can you buy nikon compatible receivers for the SU 800?

I have a SU 800 wireless transmitter and a SB600 flash. I am looking for a cheap alternative so that I do not have to buy another Nikon flash. I have an old SB 24 and I was wondering if I could just put a receiver on that?

Would that be okay? To use a receiver on a SB 24 with a SU 800?

I have looked up receivers and only came across the MiniTTI and Flex by Pocketwizard. They show the usage of the SU 800, but on top of a MiniTTI or Flex.Is it possible to just buy a receiver and use it with the SU 800 to trigger the SB 24?
