What does Instant return, electronically controlled mean on Nikon cameras?

I'm looking at DSLR cameras, and came across the term "Instant return, electronically controlled" when reading about the Aperture on a Nikon D3200, can anyone tell me what this means? Thanks.

How to take a picture of something being shot?

I have been looking at pictures such as these in the link (https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=things+being+shot&bav=on.2, or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.44770516, d.b2I&biw=1252&bih=609&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=jPZeUaqnBOqr2AWrlID4CA) and can not figure out how the do them. I have a nikon d3000 and a flash. I will be using a bb gun to shoot the items.any ideas?

What is/are good lenses for the nikon d5000?

I got my camera in 2009 around when it came out and ever since i've had the lens it came with.i've been thinking about going to B&H to buy one but a lot of them are expensive.i'm only 14 so something i can afford would be nice.i'm super into photography and taking video on my d5000 so a lens that is good for that as well would be nice.
Added (1). The lens it came with says: VR Nikon DX AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1.3.5-5.6G
Added (2). I like shooting pictures of mainly people and plants. Video as well but not heavy professional video, just something with good quality and sound. I would've chosen a d90 at the time but its too expensive and the screen can't be adjusted. I recently started looking into the d5100 but I already have the d5000 and I don't want two cameras (maybe I can sell my d5000 with sd cards). But yeah that's what I mainly shoot.

If:
Epson is the top brand for printers;
Samsung is the top brand for cell phones;
What is the top brand for cameras? Nikon or Canon?

What can I use to stabilizes my Nikon D5000 for video?

I need a stabilizer for my DSLR for video but I dont want to spend that much money because Im still in school. Also Im not going to be getting paid for anything I do yet. I was thinking of buying the camcaddie or something like it in similar price range.

Why does my Canon point and shoot have nicer colours than my Nikon dslr?

I prefer the Canon colours, not huge difference but somehow skin tones are lighter and the overall look is nicer. Nikon is more grungy. Can I get the Canon looks in my Nikon through PS's Camera RAW profiles?

Why is my Nikon N80 Autofocus not working?

I put a new roll of film into my SLR camera and the auto-focus mode isn't working (it isn't focusing) when I press the shutter release button. Also, how do you read the light meter? It seems to be negative all the time and never at the 0. Thanks for the help in advance!
