Good camera to take pictures of games?

I got interested in taking photos when I was you my friends moms camera to take pictures of her at a game( she's in drill team) and I really want to take photography up as a hobby. I want a camera that takes good event pictures. I thought getting the nikon d3200 but some people didn't like how it worked but then I saw the nikon d3300 and nobody had anything bad to say about. Except one guy who said it didn't have AEB but I don't think I need that.

Will this memory card be compatible for my Nikon D3200?

16gb SD Extreme SanDisk SDHC Memory Card 45MB/sec (Class 10) - 16GB

My previous memory card is faulty and I don't want to waste money and make the same mistake again, so will it be compatible?

Fujifiml x-e1 and nikon non cpu lenses?

So, i am a bit confused and need some help.

I was considering getting an x-e1 over my d300. I dont really want to invest into the x mount lenses as they look quite pricey for me, so id rather stick with my ai-s nikon lenses.

Im wondering if there will be a problem with the distance of the nikon lens on the x-e1 (with a lens adapter), from the sensor?

Also, if the xe1 has a light meter which can read the arpeture ring from non cpu lenses?

And lastly, is there an option on the xe1 to fill in info about non cpu lenses? (Like there is on the d300).

If anybody has any good reasons why the d300 trumps the xe1 please let me know too! :)

Recommended Lens for Nikon D300?

I am planning to get a used Nikon D300 body. I am planning to purchase some lens.

I was suggested by one of my friends to get a prime lens and a zoom lens. However, I'm not too sure which one should I get.

I have did some research and I found that the 35mm and the 50mm prime lens are the more preferable ones. I have some confusion regarding which focal length should I take (1.4 or 1.8) and also the D or G version.

This will be my first time indulging in DSLR. I am planning to learn most of the different kinds of photography such as landscape, portraits, the 'bokeh' effect, long exposure shots, low-light photography, and perhaps timelapse.

Are there any suggested lens for the Nikon D300? I have a budget of roughly USD 300 to 400. As I am aware that lenses can be reused and I hope that I could get some quality ones so that I could use them for another 5 years. (I am planning to change the body after 1 - 2 years when I have learnt most of the photography stuff). Whether it is a used or new lens, it doesn't really matter to me as long as I could use them and learn the required skills.

Thank you.
Added (1). * Also, it seems that lenses with AF-S are more costly compared to the AF only ones. What is it used for and does it really matter in my case, say the D300 with a built in AF motor?
