Tamron zoom macro 1:4 for Nikon dslr?

Hi I have a tamron zoom macro 1:4 lens and I wondered whether it would fit a Nikon d3100 or whether anyone knew of an adapter for it so it would fit?
This is really important because it decides what my next camera shall be
Added (1). I don't know what it was originally being used with but it is now with a canon ae-1 but with a lens mount converter
I know I won't be able to use the AF mode on the d3100 but will the lens fit and be compatible with it even if it needed a mount adapter?

Is there a 30x aprox.lens for nikon d3100?

I have a s3400 bridge camera with 28x optical zoom, i am looking to sell it for a nikon d3100
the only thing that i will miss will be the zoom on the s3400 so i wondered whether there was an extremely cheap lens with roughly 25x zoom for a nikon d3100 it does not have to be a very good quality, just cheap and about 25x zoom

Nikon af-s nikkor 50mm f/1.8g or AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G?

Price isn't really the problem here, more of the quality and usage factor.

Help With Choosing a Camera?

Lately I've been interested in purchasing a good Digital Camera. I've had some in mind, but i wanna make sure i'm getting a good camera for the price.cause frankly i have no idea what i should be looking for lol.
I need a camera that doesn't have too much delay, and takes good action shots. But is good with regular conditions as well.It has to work well in very low light conditions and very bright cnditions as well. And possibly take video as well, but if it doesn't have that its not the end of the world.

Any ideas? I've had in mind the Nikon D3100 thoughts?

I would like to know what camera you suggest for a beginning photographer/Cinematographer. I plan on taking pictures of people, landscapes, and nature. I'm also going to be filming action sports with it, such as skateboarding, bmxing, snowboarding. I am willing to pay between 200-800 for the camera, and 50-200 for lens. One of my friends who is a cinematographer told me to go with a Nikon d5100 while my other friend told me to go with either the Canon 650D or the Canon 600D. I really need help and if there are more options beyond these cameras please let me know.

I have a Nikon AF 1.8 50mm lens, but it won't work on a DSLR?

I have tried it on a couple of DSLRs, but the lens only reads EE in the finder. Can I not use this lens in the automatic mode on a DSLR? The lens came off a Nikon N5005. There are no other markings on the lens such a 'E' to indicate what model it is.

Is it worth to buy Nikon D5200?

I'm planning on buying my first DSLR camera and I was wondering if Nikon D5200 is worth it's price or are there any other cameras with the same price, but with better specs?

Nikon experts help. 60mm micro/macro lens?

Hiya
I got a 60mm Afs 2.8 macro (or as nikon calls it Micro) lens for xmas.
Its quality and v.close but I have seen pictures done using the same lens which are super duper close… like flies eyes and spider eyes etc… and having fiddled with it I can seem to find that level of magnification.Do people use ext tubes to get this close or is there something I am not doing ?? thankyou x

I currently have a D3100 with kitlens Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX NIKKOR
and a tamron 70 mm - 300 mm - F/4.0-5.6 which I bought last week.

I like to take pictures with a short DOF to really draw attention to the subject getting it as sharp as possible with soft blur around of things like flowers objects and people.

I'm usually out taking pictures of scenery in woods and such.
I'm thinking a prime would be more suited for the pictures i want to take.

Should i Swap my tamron 70-300mm for a prime lens:

Nikon AF-S 50mm f1.8 G Lens: £160
Nikon AF-S 40mm Micro f/2.8 DX G Lens £200

NIKON V1 VS NIKON J1?

I know 1 v1 is the upgraded version of j1 however it does not have built in flash so that is one of the downsides. However i now can't choose between the two can someone help.

Can you use a Yongnuo yn-568ex on a Nikon d70s? - 1

I wanted to know if this flash supports HIGH SPEED SYNC on this camera? I like shooting family portraits outside but hate the look without fill in flash. Anybody know?

By the way, the flash DOES support high speed sync. I just need to know if the camera can use the function and go up to the 1/8000
