Canon Rebel T3 or Nikon D3100? - 1

I was wondering which camera would be better for a beginner? I am not a photographer, but I would like to use the camera for everyday use and eventually get into photography. I researched many cameras, and it came down to these two. Which do you think is better?

How does those mic under the shirts work?

I have a nikon d5000 that can record video.how and what equipment do i need so that i can be recorded from afar while using a mic under the shirt to pick up the sound

Which Camera lens would be better?

I'm sorry I'm an amateur so I know I'll probably sound dumb asking this. I've been trying to research this but I'm still a bit confused so I would appreciate help.

I have the Nikon J1 and I wanted to buy a new lens for it. I have the 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 and the 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6. I wanted to get the 10mm f/2.8 lens because it was compact and a wide angle but then I saw they had a new lens the 18.5mm f/1.8.At first I thought it wouldn't be worth it because I have the 10-30mm but then I saw that it had a faster f-stop.So after researching the 18.5 I found it was really meant for portraits which I was looking for something I could use more for nature and street photos as well as quick snapshots.So I think I'm going to get the 10mm but I just want to make sure I'm making the right choice before I buy it because it's a lot of money for me and I don't want to buy something I don't need.

The 10mm is $249 and the 18.5 is $189 btw.

Buying a gear backpack?

I need to buy a backpack for my photography gear, but I can't seem to find any that fit these requirements:
Has to fit a Nikon d3200, with the Nikkor 18-105 and an Opteka 6.5mm aspherical lens.
I will be flying quite a bit, so the backpack will have to be carry-on size
I also want room for other stuff besides photography gear (some snacks, ipod charger, etc)
and possibly some room for a gopro hero 3, its case, battery, and a mount or two.
An added bonus would be a tripod/monopod carry strap, but this isn't necessary.

How to tether a Nikon D7000 to my Mac computer?

Hi guys,

Okay, I am curious to know to I can tether my camera (D7000, if the model matters) to my computer.It is a Macbook Pro, so it doesn't have windows running (yet again, I am not sure if this matters).

Basically I would like to be able to view the images as I shoot them, as the LCD screen on the camera is a little small for my liking.

Focus curiosity about the Nikon D7000?

I had a Nikon D5100. And I chose to upgrade a new camera so I just recently bought the Nikon D7000 with the 18-105 lens. And as I tried on the lens, and had the auto focus on, I can still do manal focus. Why is that?

No matter what i do with the ISO my pictures blur in low light or get very dark?

I have a Nikon d5100 and I just don't know what to do. Today we went to a place with Xmas lights, I wanted to take some pics of my son and even with an H1 the pics were blurring. ALLL of them, had to take them all on flash which takes from the effect. I try to shoot in manual and even when i my ISO is at it's highest the pics are dark. This is so frustrating! My sony tx1 point n shoot can take better pics indoors or in low light but my DSLR is making me cry. Can some one tell me what is it that i can do to fix this problem? I want to be able to take more pictures without the flash. When i up the exposure the pictures blur, ISO doesn't make too much of a difference. I know there is something that i am missing obviously but what? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

What would be a good lens to get for my camera?

I recently bought a NikonD3200 with a twin lens kit (18-55mm and 55-200mm). I'm already sick of having to constantly switch lenses so Im looking to buy a new lens that covers the range (more or less) of my current two lenses. Also if possible i would like a lens with a larger zoom (around the 250-400mm mark). can anybody suggest some lenses?

Also correct me if im wrong but its not to difficult to get hold of a mount ring to convert between the nikon mount system and a canon lens right? Because if this is so then it would mean i wouldnt just be limited to nikons range of lenses, true?

Camera Setup for motocross?

Is this camera setup good for taking shots of action sports such as motocross, football and snowboarding? I want the extra 55-300 lens because I don't plan on getting right up close to some of the action like the motocross, but I am new to cameras so I don't know if this setup is good or not.

The camera only shoots 4fps and the 55-300 has a f/4.5-5.6. Not sure if thats good or not?

Nikon Canon or other brands of camera?

I'm no professional, however, I am an art student who have recently taken an interest in photography and would love to purchase a camera to experiment with. I know cameras ranges from $200 digital to $1000+ SLR/DLSR.

I just basically want a camera that blurs background for pictures (going for that artsy effect) but since I am new to the photography world, I have no idea which or what camera to splurge on! What is the difference between a SLR camera and a DLSR camera? Could a normal digital camera bur backgrounds as well?

Why is my memory card only letting me record 3 minute videos?

I have a Nikon coolplex L120 and I have a 128mg memory card, and its only letting me record 3 minute videos? I deleted all the pictures and videos on the camera and it still isnt doing anything.could you please help?
