Flash not working on Nikon D3100?

Whats going on?
Added (1). When i put it on flash mode, the flash unit pops up, but when i press the button to take the picture, the flash doesn't go off. I can only see the flash in the dark. It is very very very dim.

How many DAYS will a fully charged Nikon D5100 battery last?

I'm going to the himalayas and I don't have an extra battery and can't really get one yet.
The trek is 6 days and if I charge it fully how long will it last?
It said 1030aph on the battery
And I'll be using it like at the most an hour or an hour and a half and when not in use I'll be keeping it inside my bag wrapped up to keep it from draining because of the cold weather.

So, how many days would it last without recharging?

Suggestions for dropped 18-200mm VRII?

My Nikon Nikkor 18-200mm VR II lens has dropped, front & back glasses are fine and internal blade is broken, zoom locked & showing ghost effect when i try to take photos

can anyone please suggest a shop where i can get it repaired or service?

What is the corded clicker that plugs into cameras to take pics?

I have a Nikon d3200 and im looking into doing my own diy photo booth for my wedding.
I am wanting to know if they have an accessary that plugs into the camera that has a clicker to take the picture, that way no body has to actually touch the camera to take the picture.

if you go and get your pics done at a photo place the photographer usually uses one.

does anyone know what accessory i am talking about, what is it called? And where can I find one to purchase?

Why is my nikon D80 is taking very dark photos?

Its the middle of the day and I want to take photos inside, lights are on as well, and my camera is taking very dark pictures
