Time interval for timelapse Photography?

I am doing a star night sky time lapse for about 12 hours. I will be using a Nikon dslr by taking a series of photos and combining them into a video file.So which one is better? A photo in every 1 minute or 5 min?

How to capture a photo in slow mo so it looks like it's moving?

Like when you see a photo of a car moving and there is light streaks i am trying to do that with small game dice! I am using a Nikon D3100 DSRL. what iso, f-stop, and exposure would i use?

Need a new camera - traveling to Africa?

I am looking to purchase a new camera.

I already have a nikon cool pics camera, and i do love it, but I think I am in need of something more for my trip to Africa. I am looking to stay under $250.00 - Can you please suggest any?

Also remember I take a lot of shots at a race track, so I need something that is good for night pics and great zoom. If anyone can give me some suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Pros/Cons are welcome.

This memory card cannot be used. Card may be damaged. Use another card?

By reading the title of the topic, you can probably guess my problem here.My 16B SanDisk refuse to work in my Nikon D3200. Every time insert into the camera and turn it on it give me an error message saying "This memory card cannot be used. Card may be damaged. Use another card".
After this, I turned off my camera and inserted it into my MacBook Pro, went onto finder and the card wasnt read. Now I must mention that before it did this, it worked perfectly fine on my macbook (it only stopped working afterwards).
The reason I believe it stopped work was because I turned off the camera too soon after recording a video (stopped working after this).
Is there anyway that I can fix it?

Nikon vs Canon? Digital camera?

Hey guys i need help i got some questions!
ok i was looking for a new camera because im going for a holiday in like 4 weeks so im looking for a camera that is good for example the nikon d5200, its good in video its 22-24mp and the zoom i want is 18-105 which is pretty much what i need? any better cameras even if its canon? please and you guys can link me to a website or store who sells them ?

Is Nikon D5200 worth the money?

I want to learn photography and Nikon D5200 attracts me. However, because I am new to DSLRs, I do not know if this model is good.

Do you think it is good? Or would you recommend other brands/models?

Photos disappeared off camera? - 1

Ok basically I took 300 photos on a camera I took the ad card and put it in a different camera that the computer can detect I always do this. Before I put it in the other camera when I had it in the original camera a Nikon d60 it said this sd card contains no images when I took pictures on the camera nd viewed it. When I opened the files on the ad card the images said no preview available and when I opened it in a various amount of programs such as iranview they still would not open. I downloaded recovery programs for the jpeg files and they recovered finally on one program called stellar image recovery when I recovered it the photos contained no headers the colors were changed. The photos were different colors instead if the original colors and some of the photos had grey sections where the majority of the picture was covered by a gray color. What I was thinking was I could save those jpeg files got from the recovery proram and then download a jpeg repair program and it would fix them. I don't really know what's wrong with the Jpeg files maybe there corrupted but keep in mind I'm 13 so I'm not the best with these type of things please answer,
