Which point-and-shoot camera do you suggest?

I've looked into both the Canon ELPH110 HS and the Canon powershot sx280; however if anyone has any other suggestions that are $350 or lower, please send them my way.

And brand name does not matter to me.i own a Nikon DSLR but enjoy using my dad's Canon. Any recommendations are welcome!

How long does it take you to focus on macro shots?

Hello, I'm thinking about getting a Nikon D3100 and a Tokina 100mm for insects and flower shots, and was wondering, let's say if I want to take a picture of a bee, how long would it take a good/amateur photographer to focus and to take the shot? Would you say that the Tokina 100mm is a good choice when the other choices are the Tamron 60mm and Tamron 90mm?

Also, I heard that with macro shots, many don't use Auto Focus anyways, is this true?

What's the cheapest full frame canon dslr?

I looked for this in the internet and only found four options, i think there are some missing so i would want to know what you think.i'm not planning to get a full frame right now but i would consider the full frame cameras of today for the future.i would also like to know the models that follow, and also the same question for nikon in case i ever change.thanks

Options for upgrading from a D90 to a non DX-sensor camera?

My brother broke my D90 camera and I thought perhaps it would be a good opportunity to maybe go for an improvement from the D90 model. (Anything from Nikon or Canon would be great)

Does putting your DSLR lens down in the case affect anything?

I just got a lowpro case for my nikon dslr and i noticed that in the pictures of the case they have the camera lens down. Growing up i was told to put the lens facing up because if it is lens down it can break something that attaches the lens to the camera body.i was wondering because Digital slr's are made different than camera 20 years ago if putting your DSLR lens down in the case affect anything
If it help i have a Nikon d7000 w/ 18-105mm lens

Why is my camera out of focus after changing focus screens?

I shoot a Canon 350D and use some old Nikkor lenses… I tried to get better results by buying and installing a split-image focus screen and hated it. When I re-installed my original screen and I use Aperture priority and get the focus confirmation beep… the image in the viewfinder is out of focus… the shot is great… but the viewfinder is out of focus… even when I adjust the diopter setting on the eye piece. Can anyone offer a tip?

Is the nikon 1 worth the money?

I'm looking to buy a new camera due to mine always taking blury pics… and I always had my eye on the Nikon one and I have looked in ebay and craigslist to find a better deal… which I have… but I don't want to spend so much money on a camera that isn't as good as I think it is… have any of y'all handled a Nikon 1 or have a friend who does??? Please tell me your opinions cause I'm looking for a camera that can catch things in motion such as my horses when they run.

Does the brand of lense effect the picture?

I'm not the most experienced with camera lenses and unfortunately I broke my current one so I'm looking to get a new one.

I currently have a Nikon D90 with a 105mm lens (broken one) and the information is Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6. I am looking at another with the same size: Nikon AF 35-105mm 3.5-4.5 Lens.

Is the one I have now better or the one I am looking at?

I'm into sport photography so I don't need any macro lens, I just take photos for a hobby.

Should I just get my current lens fixed, buy the other (Nikon AF 35-105mm 3.5-4.5 Lens) or get a Nikon DX AF-S 18-135mm lens?

How to ask my parents for better clothes?

Ok so i am asking this cause well i am 13 going in to 8th grade and i really want nicer clothes my parents make good money but we have had finacal issues i am the oldest of 4 kids so i have no older sibling here yes i am spoiled by my dad but i have NO clothes i am not kidding last year i barley had enough to last me a waeek now i only have a few pants left that fit me this whole summer i have been living off one pair of shorts(my aunt but me them) i get whatever i have from jcpenny(2 shirts) and some from walmart and kmart its absolutely embarrassing i hid my whole 7th grade year in hooded sweater shirts my parents get mad cause i wear the to much but truth is i am embarrassed by what i wear the best i have is two top &2 pants from forever 21(from my god mother) the part that suck is my 8 year old sis and 6 year old sis have more clothes than me i watch youtube videos of beauty guru wishing i could have clothes like them yesterday on instagram this girl posted a pic all these bags of clothes (forever21 pacsun a&f etc) i wanted to cry seeing it so last month was my bday i asked for no party but the nikon d5200 (i am a bit of a filmer) my dad was broke and said August so now i am just waiting but i think i wanna ask if i can instead just get some cash for clothes my mom is cheap my dad doesnt care he has taught me to stop being cheap and cutting my selfself short i dnt wanna sound un grate full but i really need clothes so help?
