I am using a TT500 speedlite external flash and a Nikon D500 DSLR camera.i've got a radio slip set up so that the flash should go off when I hit the shutter. I've checked the channel the radio slip is on and tried turning it off and on.the batteries are full.any help?

How to change picture format to RAW on my DSLR?
I own a Nikon D3100 and I want to change the picture format on my camera so that my photos are shot in RAW (or NEF in Nikon cameras)

Which lens is best for wildlife photography?
I am completely new to DSLRs and am doing some research before I decide which to buy. I was originally thinking of getting the Nikon d3100 as a kit with the 18-55mm lens. However I have read that that lens isn't very good for taking photographs of wildlife from further away, like birds, is this true? And if so is the 55-200mm better for this?
Finally I have read that the lens is the most important part so if I decide to go with the 55-200mm lens what body should I buy? Entry level so nothing too expensive

Cant download on new Laptop?
I bought a Laptop today, a HP one… latest.No idea of any of the info, as it didn't come with much except a box - anyway. I do make videos, and I use a Nikon D3100 and edit on Windows Movie Maker which was on my old Laptop which came with the editing site, but on this one I have to download the site and to be honest, I cant figure it out. I've downloaded Movie Maker (latest version) about 5 times, and it still doesn't show up.It has changed my internet search bar to Funmoods which now I cant seem to switch back to Google, even though I do change it in settings. I find the Movie Maker in my Laptop, click it, and it downloads again - yet each time it says "successfully downloaded"
What do I do? I need the site by tomorrow as I'm making another video tomorrow!

Best digital camera!
Im an amateur photographer..i really love it but uptill mow i hav only practiced it on my ipod..its camra really sucks..im looking now for a compact camera..my budgets quite tight..i hav a range of 100-150$..all i require is a decent 14-16mp ccd or super HAD CCD sensor digital camera with 4x-6x optical zoom..should be capable of decent low light and indoor photography..i would prefer sony, nikon or canon… any suggetions would be welcomed..cheers!

I am looking to purchase flash for my Nikon D-5100. I would like to know which you guys think would be the best to buy. I was looking into the SB-600, SB-700, or even the SB-800… Are there any other options that I should be looking into. I'm looking for something good enough for inside and out side portraits. Lumix FZ200, Canon SX40/50HS, or something else?
I've been a semi-pro photographer (still images) for some years now, and I've been interested in making videos for some time, but I always get confused when it comes to choosing a video camera.It's just way more complicated than choosing a still image camera. I'm using a Nikon system right now and I know from first hand experience that Nikon SLR's still produce pretty crappy videos, so going the video SLR route is not viable unless I go double system and buy Canons for video. I'll be using the video cameras for both professional and personal use. I do not think I need a broadcasting grade video camera, but if that's the only real option I have, I will save up for it.
I currently have the Canon SX40 HS, and while I am quite satisfied with its still image output, I can't say the same for its video output. The SX40 just hunts too much while recording video, and the videos seem too noisy in low light situations. Does the SX50 or the FZ200 make better videos in low light?

alas, I do not have 10, 000 dollars to spend on a new video camera yet, so basically I'm looking for the best compromise of this camera. I have to choose from Nikon D5100 and Canon 600D and I am a little confused regarding buying it because some say Nikon is better and some say Canon is better. I need camera just because I have a wish to have a DSLR camera and no professional stuff.So please Help me.

Blurry photos in dslr camera?
Okay I have a nikon d5100
Whenever I go to take a picture of myself (the camera is in my hand btw) it turns up looking like a blurry piece of ***
where am I going wrong?
Normally they come out great.just in self pictures it sucks the *** outta me

I own a nikon teleconverter tc 20 e (new model). all nikkor lens compatible with it are way too expensive and i cant afford to buy one as of now.will i successfully be able to use any 3rd party lenses with the nikon teleconverter? pls help

Nikon lens repair possible?
On a rough airline flight several months ago my lens became damaged. I know it is too late to file a claim with the airline. One of the plastic lugs that the camera uses to lock on to the lens is broken off. I didn't notice it right away because I switched lenses shortly after the flight and haven't tried to use that lens again until today. Anyway the lens will not install on the camera.
Anyway does anyone know if that kind of damage to the lens can be fixed? The closest factory authorized repair facility is over 200 miles away so it would have to be shipped.

I'm looking for a camera, but I'm also on a slight budget. I can't really spend over $150.
I am not so familiar with cameras, but I do want one. I am planning to go on a trip soon & I wanted to get a ton of pics. I was planning to go out to the beach & then towards the mountains.wanted to get a ton of pics where i'm headed & possibly with friends. I don't really know the differences in the resolution, megapixle, etc.on the camera's.
everyone tells me to get a Nikon, Canon or Sony. I'm not planning to make any videos with it, just taking pics. also, I wanted to get one that you can upload pictures to on a laptop to edit, if possible.
