Which is better, Nikon or Canon? - 2

I'm traveling to UK in the summer. I want a camera that can zoom in very far but look very clear. Something that can catch a lot of detail in a photo. If I take a close up of a flower I want to see all the colors and pollen. Which brand to you recommend and what kind fits my needs?

Making a self documentary, how should i start?

I am moving to LA next monday and i decided i wanted to make a self documentary about me moving from a fairly country place(kansas) to a big city and adapting to the changes in scenery and peopl and restarting my social life but i am not sure how to start. I am basically doing this with no money all i have is a Nikon D3100 and a laptop for editing

I want to buy a new dslr.i might go for nikon d5200.what macro lens will go with it?

Il b getting af-s 55mm lens. I love yo shoot insects do i want to buy a macro lens along. I dont mind the brand. Isnt there any below 5000 rupees?

What DSLR should i go for? - 1

I am wanting to buy a new DSLR camera, I have a Sony a200 and I haven't had any problems with it. But I am wanting a camera with live view and video. I have around £350 to spend and I am wanting to buy new I've been looking at the Nikon D3100 but not sure what to do. Any help would be much appreciated

theyre bothe the same price just different focal lengths

Nikon D7000 problem with the wireless transmitter?

Hello, I hope someone can help me in this.
I have a Nikon D7000 and a yongnuo wireless transmitter and an off-camera flash.
They were all working fine together until my son fidgeted with the camera. (I am not sure if he dropped it or just pressed the buttons. I am sure he did not change anything inside the camera menu, maybe just the buttons on the outside of the camera). But now the camera doesn't seem to send a signal to the transmitter. When I press the test button on the transmitter, the off camera flash is fired.when I connect the flash directly to the camera, it works too. But when the transmitter is on the camera and i click the shutter, the flash doesn't fire. Sorry if i am using the wrong technical words. Not a big expert.
I hope that makes sense to someone.

Added (1). Thanks to everyone answering but please remember that when I press the transmitter's test button, it fires the flash.So i am assuming that the connection between the transmitter and the flash is OK.
The shutter button of the camera is not firing the flash when it is OFF CAMERA.
