Digital Camera recommendations? - 1

I will be using the camera more for vlogging than taking pictures.

I've been told that Nikon d3200 is a good camera for both video recording and photo shooting however is there any cheaper alternatives?

Help with finding camera?

So I'm hoping to get a nice camera, and these are some of the features I hope to find in it, I'm still searching but it's really hard to see which ones are better when there's so many options. I don't really care is it's dSLR or not as long as it fits most of these characteristics. The cheaper the better (obviously) but anything over 800-900 would probably be out of my price range. If any of you know any options that have these features that would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

As much zoom as possible (28 ml or less)
zoom from 28-200 (without having 2 separate lens)
Rather stick to Nikon or Canon but can look into other brands

Red dot vs Scope for Deer for shotgun?

I'm looking at a couple of scopes and I cannot really decide what would be best. I'm between a Nikon 2-7 power, a leupold 2-7x and a bushnell 2 power red dot. I'll be putting it on a mossberg 500 for deer hunting. I am mainly in woods, taking few shots over 100 yards. Underwater housing for Nikon D5000?

Hi,

I have a Nikon D5000 camera and looking to take this underwater. I have been looking to get an underwater camera housing, within my budget Ikelite only used to produce now they do not do any more.So will D5000 fit on an Ikelite housing made for D5100?

Am I allowed to bring my camera to Warped?

I've been to warped before but never brought my camera.My phone is just not cutting it.My camera is a Nikon but its rather large..would they let me bring it in or would they confiscate it?

What are some HD camcorders with the quality of a DSLR camera?

I make YouTube videos and since I have started I've been using my dad's Nikon d3100 and it is amazing just the best quality I have come across but I am looking for something with the same exact quality that has a longer recording time, pull out view finder, and auto focus. I can't seem to fine that I recently bought the Cannon VIXIA HF R400 and its okay but definitely not the d3100 the quality of the video just isn't there but it has everything else I want.So I could really use someone's help and input on what is the best camera/camcorder for me based on what I desire

Q. about Nikon D5100 - what lens to purchase for people/animals?

I am looking into buying the Nikon D5100 and I know you can purchase it as a deal with the 18-55 mm lens but I heard that those size lens dont take the best pictures to buy a better one. I'm not familiar with all the lens types and sizes. I just want a Camera that will take crisp, and clear pictures of people, animals, and also wildlife, landscape etc. Can anyone tell me what would be best to buy with it???
