The best Nikon camera (Quality)?

Hello!

I'm not much into photography, I need to buy a new DSLR camera for a friend as a Birthday present. They already have the Nikon D7000.

I have noticed that the Nikon D600 24-85mm is far too expensive than the D7000, I really don't know if these model number express the quality of the camera. (increasingly).

What camera is far best beyond the D7000 in regards to quality, best shoots… Etc.

Is it worth upgrading from a Nikon D5100 to a D7000?

I love my D5100, but my complaint is that it doesn't have a built-in focus motor. The lenses are expensive, I'm starting to think it's more advantage to pay more for a body and pay less for lenses. What do you think, will I get a lot in return with this upgrade? And will my AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G work on the D7000? It's basically the only lens I use. I'm mostly a portrait photographer.
I would have paid half the price for this lens if I had a D7000.

What DSLR is best for an amature wildlife/ landscape photographer?

So i have been taking pictures for a few years now on a kind of compact/ DSLR camera and i want to up grade to something better. I have been looking at the NIkon D3200 or the cannon 600D (im pushing towards this one, but only because i like the design), but i cant decide between the too and i don't know what lens i want to go with it.(the only lenses i like are about 500 - 1000 pounds but i could never justify spending that) I would like a lense with a big zoom as my current is about 25 to 50 mm (or something like that i know its up to 50mm) and i dont feel the range is big enough. My passion is to take wildlife and landscape photos and i don't care too much for recording videos and/ or pictures of people.

Could anyone recommend which one would be better for me and what lens would go well on them, my budget is about £500 - £600.

Added (1). My current camera is the samsung nx1000 i wasn't sure if it was a compact or a DSLR or a bit of both. The reason why i dont want it any more is because it has no view finder which i find extremely annoying and the addon's for it are extremely limited, i.e the selection of lenses to go on it. Although im only limiting my self to £600 at the moment it dosent mean that i wont buy a £1000 lens in the future.

Nikon 24-70 is not taking sharp photos, why?

I'm very discouraged that it's been a year since I purchased this lens. Maybe 10 percent of the photos come out sharp but most of the time they are blurry or out of focus.

I have tried indoor, outdoor, day, night, speed light, different settings, the results are just disappointing.

I'm using Nikon D90.

Can someone tell me why?

How to open a vintage Nikon SLR?

I am a 'hobbyist' photographer and I want to try film photography. I was recently given this camera and I can't figure out how to open up the back where you put in film. I am not sure if mine is different or broken. Here are some pictures-

NIKKOR LENS BROKEN APERTURE BLADES! HELP?

So, i was unlucky enough to have my camera fell on the floor and seems that the aperture blades are either broken or unplugged from the lens, "dancing" inside them. Im taking it to Nikon service but im wondering if the 2 year warranty can cover this damage. Can this be fixed? A guy told me that 99% it cannot and the lens are useless! Im really depressed with the damage, i dont even know if thats a serious matter or something mino that can be easily fixed, please help:/ Lens are Nikkor 18-105mm

My Nikon D40 won't auto focus on a white background?

I am trying to take photos on self-timer and auto focus in front of a white background but it will not focus at all. I'm not very good using manual so it's just blurry when I switch to manual. Can anyone help me? I need to take pictures of myself but cannot get my camera to focus! Thank you

When I try to charge my Nikon D200 batery it only blinks three times and goes off?

Need help please, need my camera but I can't charge it. Somehow when I try to charge it, it'll blink three times and goes off. Does anyone knows where the problem is and how to solve it? Is it in the batery or in my MH-18a quick charger?
