Nikon Fe2 or Canon A1?

I'm taking a photography class at my college. We have to get a 35mm film camera.It can have an auto option, but it has to be able to go fully manual as well, and it needs a working internal light meter. I am a beginner, but this is something I would really like to get into, so I would to get a little better of a camera, not just the "student" model. I've been looking at the Nikon Fe2 and the Canon A1. There's a shop that has them priced the same. Can anyone just tell me the major differences, which do you suggest?
Added (1). Sorry I forgot to say, I don't care about the lenses.It's fine if they can't be used now. Just camera-wise, which is better?

Will sigma 17-50mm f2.8 ex dc os hsm work on a full frame camera?

Thinking of buying the sigma 17-50mm f2.8 ex dc os hsm for my nikon d3100 which is a dx camera.
The thing is i will upgrade in a full frame dslr in 1-2 years so i dont wont to be buying a lens that wont be usefull on my future full frame camera
will those lens be ok? i am bying the hsm version so would be able to autofocus on nikon d3100

Nikon 5100: predawn to daylight time lapse. How do I focus the lens?

Obviously, in pitch darkness, neither the camera nor I can focus the lens.

I can focus in daylight the day before, but fiddling the lens cap generally messes that up.

I just want it focused at infinity. Why does the lens go beyond that? Grumble.

What camera should I use for disneyland? - 1

Ok sO I NEVER went to disney land (I'm 23) and I know it sounds silly but I'm sooooooo excited
and I charged my nikon D90 and my small camera (samsunge) and of course my iphone
but I'm afraid I will worry too much about shooting I wont enjoy the trip

should I keep my (heavy) nikon d90 home and just use a small normal camera+ iphone ?? or do you recommend taking the nikon as well ?

Is autofocus important for portraiture?

I currently have a Nikon D5000, and I'm mostly using the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D. The problem is - I cannot autofocus with the f/1.8D as my camera is only a simple SLR. I can only autofocus with the f/1.8G.

So my question is - if I were to begin doing photoshoots, would the f/1.8G be necessary? I do find it quite hard having to continually manual focus - especially when I'm using 1.8…

Hmm. Anyway. I'm tight on money. Should I squeeze in, and buy the f/1.8G? (I bought the f/1.8D for $125, the G will cost me $250).

Should my camera be alright in the cold?

I left my nikon d5100 outside in the cold for a star lapse, its about 15 degrees Celsius.should it be alright for an hour? will it get damaged?

Is a Vivitar 2800 Auto Thyristor Flash safe for my Nikon D5100 SLR?

I bought a Nikon D5100 a week ago and my father has this old camera a decade ago (it was a Yashica with a Vivitar 2800 flash) and I tried to plug it in with my D5100. Everything was fine when I used it. Thank goodness, it didn't fry up the mechanics.

My only concern is I don't want to buy a Nikon Speedlight flash since it will cost me a fortune to have one. Although I'm planning to set it up with a hot shoe adapter from eBay, will it be safe to use on the long run?
