Computer says no new pictures found on this device when there are pictures on there?

i recently bought a new CF card for my nikon d70 and i took some pictures and when i put it in the computer it said, no new pictures or videos found on this device even though there are pictures on there

Can't choose a DSLR?!

I finally decided to buy a DSLR, i did some searching around on the net and decided to buy the Nikon D3300, but a few commenters say that the Nikon D5100 has better image quality. Others even say that i should get the Pentax K-500, because that's the best beginner DSLR. Could any of you help me pick one of these three, or maybe suggest something in the same price range, because i'm kinda on a tight budget.
