Which Lowepro Fastpack for Nikon D7000 w/ 18-200mm attached?

I might also want to carry a secondary compact lens and a flasher. I'd like to choose the smallest bag that fits my gear, so I am sure I don't need a Lowepro Fastpack 350.
Is Fastpack 200 enough, or do I need a 250?
Added (1). I have already checked Lowepro's bag finder, but it won't let me configure whether I want the lens to be attached on the camera, or just separately stored.
I'd like to have the 18-200mm lens attached to the camera, so that I can just take it out and start shooting pictures right away.

Which DSLR camera brand is best?

Ok so I'm a beginner in photography, and I have a Fujifilm finepixs s2950 and soon I'm gonna work and get at least $1, 000 and was hopping to buy a Nikon D5100 but someone told me that Nikon wasn't a very good brand. I was also looking at canon's camera but can't see one I like and know much about. Also looked at Sony's but don't know if there good. Can you tell which camera brand is better? What alternatives are there to a Nikon 1 J2?

My brother has the camera listed above. If I'm honest, I love using it more than he does, and I probably use it more too.

I've always loved taking photos, so I'd like to upgrade my current offerings: a couple of basic compacts, and a huge unused Finepix S4000 bridge camera (I bought it for the zoom - when I was younger, I thought the higher the optical zoom, the better the camera).

I don't really have any interest in (or enough money for) a DSLR. I love the crisp, quality photos that the Nikon produces, and it's 'small focus area' you get with better quality cameras (sorry, no idea what that's called). Especially for such a low priced camera.

I'm looking for something of a similar size, that can fit easily in a bag for travelling (like the Canon S110 maybe?), as it will most likely travel the world with me. I'd prefer not an interchangeable lens, but if the quality is a lot less without, then I don't really mind having one. The ability to take good low light photos would be wonderful. True colour representation is a high point, nice sunsets and vivid bright colours, I want nice photos from my travels. Slow mo video would be fun, but not necessary. I will never use wifi or a touchscreen.

Similar price to the Nikon 1 J2 would be nice, but I've recently been given a bit of money, so I can probably go to the £250 mark, treat myself (I am but a lowly third year student). I could save up though.

So just wondering if there are any alternatives I could look in to?

How to make Nikon d3200 shutter speed faster?

Macbook Pro 512gb or 256gb ssd?

I am planning on buying myself a macbook pro but I have no idea how much ssd I will need.

I often take photos on my Nikon and like to store them on my laptop but I don't take photography very often unless I'm on holiday then I would take over 500 photos and later store them on my laptop. Apart from photography, I don't really download much, maybe a few programmes here and there and I might consider starting a youtube channel so if I was to then I would be storing the videos on the laptop too.

I think I will be using the laptop for more than 5 years but I don't know if I should spend the extra money on more SSD.

Manually adjust flash power on Canon Speedlite 90EX?

So I bought an EOS M and it came with the (seemingly) useless Speedlite 90EX. While it does TTL on the EOS M, my main system is around a Nikon D5200. Advice for concert photography. Having trouble with red lighting?

I've recently gotten into concert photography for a website. I've been doing photography for a couple of years now, mostly just casually until a friend of a friend saw a few shots I put up from some events I had attended.

Long story short I've started doing photography for his music website. When I do larger shows, I tend to not have any problems. There's enough lighting that I'm competent enough to get the shots I want. However when I do smaller shows, particularly at this one place that loves red lighting, I'm struggling. Is there any advice someone can give me for shooting in red lighting? My photos are coming out somewhat blurry and washed out.

I've figured out the blue lighting the place likes to use. Using Photoshop's skin tone corrector seems to clear that up no problem, but red is a thorn in my side.

I'm shooting with the Sony Nex system, with mostly prime lenses, but I've had the same trouble with the zoom lenses as well. Don't knock the camera as I have plenty of great shots from the concerts I've attended. I'm more concerned with knowing a setting that might get me past this lighting, not "Get a Nikon/Canon".

Explanation of Camera Lenses and lighting?

I recently purchased a Nikon D3300 and only have the lens it comes with, a 18-55mm. I'm able to take some good pics but I feel like I really need something to focus on. I really want to get something as small as the texture and detail on a rock or moss "hairs." Lower mm to higher mm is for range/distance so do I just need a lower mm or a special lens altogether?

I only use manual mode and plan to go to school for photography so I wanted some info on how lights should be used and what lights I should get/use. Outside lighting is fine now no matter how dark the day is so far but in an incandescent room I just can't get anything to show up even after playing around any tips other than using flash?

I'm open to any other info and advice I'm signing up in a few months and trying to get a head start. I really appreciate the help and time you took to read all this.

A7 MkII as a full frame upgrade?

I do a lot of handheld indoor/low light photography (think concerts) as well as outdoor/landscape. I see that my crop-sensor camera suffers a lot when my ISO is cranked up… Most of my shots at ISO 3200 or above are unusable garbage. While I have a tripod and external flash, I cannot use these b/c they impede my mobility and aggravate people, respectively.

I'm drooling over the A7 MkII's 5-axis stabilization, and after playing with the original A7 in-store, I envy the assisted digital zoom when manual focusing. With my eyesight deteriorating because my day job requires me to sit in front of a monitor all day, it's really hard for me to use a viewfinder when in manual mode. I almost exclusively use auto-focus, but no AF works that great in the dark, which is why I really like the assisted digital zoom.

I probably won't be selling off my D7100, unless the A7 MkII proves to be more useful.

That said, I'd like some input before comitting $2k.

And on that note, is the kit lens that comes with the A7 MkII any decent?

I currently run on a Nikon D7100.
Added (1). I'm looking at the A7 MkII b/c of cost. For $2000 USD, that sounds like a great deal for a FF option w/ a kit lens.

I dream of getting a FF Canon, but that's at least $1000 more than I'm willing to spend.

Bridge camera vs SLR?

I want to replace my 10 year old sony SLR with something better quality (in low light conditions)! My main use of the camera is aircraft photography & Traveling pictures.
I am used to using the SLR and I like the versatility of being able to replace the lenses for different uses, however I really like the Super Zoom on bridge cameras, it is perfect for shots of aircraft that fly over my house (10000-20000ft).
My budget is £250 to a absolute maximum of £350. I want to be able to take pictures in low light condition (mostly dusk & early morning), without there being too much noise in the photo. Aircraft photography is a hobby so I want the camera to last me as long as possible without having to replace it as well as producing some high quality images I can post on Flickr and print out. As my last camera was a hand-me-down it was a nice starting point for me but the quality at night lacks, and it has a small zoom.

Best starter DSLR camera?

I'm looking for a good starter dslr that won't destroy my bank account. Max is 600 with little room but I would like to spend less. If the difference between the $300 and $600 camera are Minimal I'm going to go with the 300 haha.

What I'm NOT looking for.

Size and weight aren't much of a factor, within reason obviously. Nothing 10 lbs and the size of a shoe box XD

The screen is less important. I care more about the actual picture quality when on the computer and ultimately printed if I get them printed.

Asthetics in general don't matter.

I care more about factors that can't be fixed easily by editing than things that minor editing can easily fix.

Bells and whistles that are cool, but just jack up the price and you don't really need

What I am looking for

The camera that has the best value. Obviously the 600 dollar camera will be better than the 300 dollar one, but is it really twice as good?

Interchangeable lenses is a must.

Mirrorles cameras are fine (i know I said dslr, but. Sorry XD)

interchangeable lenses is a must

Big emphasis Final product image quality

A camera I can grow with. Something that I won't outgrow in a year even if that.ears the camera is more complex and will take longer to learn.

thank you for your help! I have looked at nikon, sony, and canon so far. Just want to get experienced photographers advice with money as a factor which it doesn't seem to be on some of the "top 10" lists out there.

What should I do to get my start in photography?

I'm getting a Nikon D3300 for Christmas. I've been taking pictures with my dad's D300 for a while and he has some very high quality lenses that I have access to. These are lenses such as the 70-200 F2.8. I also have access to a 200-400 F4 and many others. My question is can I photograph for very cheap for someone? Is it legal? Could I charge like $10 for a day's worth of work? The only reason is to try to make the money back that the camera costs. Thanks so much for the help and have a Merry Christmas!

Should I switch to mirrorless?

Two years ago, I splurged on a Nikon D5200… And then a whole new world opened up to me. I swapped up for a Nikon D7100, and I've been loving it (I know the D5200 and the D7100 have the same sensor… But dang are they different to use).

I own two lenses: a 35mm prime and a 11-16mm superwide. I've achieved great results with both.

But I noticed that I do a lot of indoor or dark photography. It's rare that I'm outside in full sunlight. Compared to full-frame shots, I'm noticing my photos suffering from needing to be at high ISO and low shutter speeds on my crop-sensor.

I'd love a full-frame camera, but I don't have $4000 to spend. On the other hand, $2000 for a full-frame mirrorless with what looks like a decent kit lens sounds very attractive, especially with the phenomenal results I've been seeing with the new A7 Mark II.

And I've also started dabbling in video, and I'm told Nikon (insofar as my D7100 is concerned) is inferior.

My reservation, obviously, is switching to a whole new platform. In addition, my eyesight has somewhat deteriorated and I find viewfinders difficult to use. I rarely produce sharp pictures using viewfinder and manual focus. If I have to use manual focus, I always use live view.

Any thoughts on the matter would be great!

I'm using a Nikon DSLR. I noticed that the Fxx/x thingy which i think is the aperture, becomes F --/- . There are usually digits after the F to show the amount of light but it becomes blank ( - ) sometimes and that is when my camera won't capture pictures. Nikon 18-200 mm or 70-300 lens for sports?

What is the difference between a 55-200 mm VR and a 55-300 mm VR DSLR lens?

I'm looking at cameras for my boyfriend and can't decide which to go with - mainly because I don't know much about them. Right now I'm choosing between the Nikon 3100 18-55 mm VR + 55-300 mm VR, and the Nikon D5000 18-55 mm VR + 55-200 mm VR. He isn't by any means a professional photographer, but we're looking for something that will give us a crisp picture and that has a good zoom.

I know that usually the bulk of the cost is concerning which lens you buy. In this case, the cost is only a difference of $150. How much better is the 55-300 than the 55-200? I'm sure its worth the $150, but I'm just wondering what exactly the difference is between these two. I plan to visit a camera shop later this week, but in the mean time I'm just looking for some opinions concerning this. Thanks!

I am a 14 year old boy who is just getting into photography. My dad is a Nikon shooter and he has some very nice lenses that I can use. I'm wondering if it's worth the extra couple hundred dollars to get the D5300? I like the look of the D3300 better and the layout as well. Please help! Thanks!

Lexar CF Card compatibility with Canon?

Okay so I have a Canon EOS 40D, and I need a CF card. I found the "Lexar Professional 800x 32GB CompactFlash Card" and I need to know if it is compatible with my camera. I don't want to have to spend $50.00 if it's not going to work. Please let me know!
Added (1). Also, I'm wondering if the SanDisk Ultra compact flash card would work better (or even at all)?

Nikon D5100 isn't focusing when using the flip screen?

Nikon D5100 isn't focusing when using the flip screen?
Added (1). I've had my Nikon D5100 for a few years now and kept it in great condition. Just recently I've been having trouble focusing with it. I did a complete reset and put it back to factory settings, and I'm still having a hard time. Whenever I use my flip screen and change my viewing from the view finder to the live view switch, it just won't focus. I keep getting the red box, and it won't let me take pictures. I have no idea how to fix this. Any idea what I can do? Thank you!

Music Photographer Advice? (Like Adam Elmakias)?

I'm a sophmore in high school and have a big interest in concerts and also photography. Someday I would like to be like Adam Elmakias. Go on tours with bands and take pictures of them while playing and everything similar. I really need a camera to start out with. Preferably a canon. I'm going to start going to local shows around where I live and take pictures there to build a portfolio. Any advice on what camera I should get? One for good low light situations? Also any advice on my career and how to potentially achieve where I would like to get? :)

Should I return my Nikon L330?

So I bought this camera on Black Friday on Target me being a compulsive buyer thought "hmm its a Nikon it bound to take amazing pictures". Keep in mind I know nothing about cameras and I should've done some research before buying it. Doing some research I found out that ehhh its not a good camera considering that I bought it at $99 original price $229. Plus I have to buy a battery charger and rechargeable batteries.

So I was thinking should I return this one and buy the Nikon L830, I have researched it and found out that it's a little better(is it?). This one costs $299 original and discount $169 ( not even 50% off). Plus I still have to but a battery charger and rechargeable batteries.

FYI: I want to take pictures of landscape and nature I know nothing on how to but would like to because i love nature and stuff. As well as im on a budget so I can't buy a DSLR
Added (1). Or is there another camera that takes above average pictures.

Amazon Rewards Card good idea?

Im 22. Have had only 2 30-day past due payments in my life since being 18. They were $50 payments for a fedloan(college). Paid 2k out of 3.5k since 2010. The other loan I have is for my car since 2/2013. Paid every month on time for this payment. Those two past dues were my very first payments for the fedloan in 2010. Been flawless since then. Would opening an amazon card for a purchase of $3400 be okay? Need to take advantage of holiday Nikon savings of $700. I have 950 ready to pay upfront btw
Car payment info: 12.5k left out of 19k total. Did a 66 finance at 4%apr.
