Would the Nikon d5300 good for sports?

I have been researching a lot and I believe I am going to get a Nikon d5300 as my first DSLR. The other camera I was heavily considering was the t5i, but the Nikon seems to slightly have the edge. If you disagree let me know. The one thing I am concerned about is how the Nikon will preform when shooting sports. Will the AF be satisfactory? Can the camera track fast moving subjects well enough? I will be photographing some sporting events at my college so I want a camera is good when shooting sports. How do you think the d5300 is at this? Would you recommend anything else?

Change to canon from nikon?

I have a nikon d7000 with 50mm 1.4G lens and is the only lens I have.

I've been thinking of changing to a full frame canon or 7D as the lenses I find are cheaper than nikon and I know nikon lenses are better built. There are a few canon lenses I have in mind but when I compare the same lenses to nikon, nikon are double the price.

I'm also going to be doing a photography course in September and want to expand my variety of lenses with having to spend more than £500 on just one lens.

Thoughts?

Can't make up my mind?!

Hello, i need help with buying a camera. I want to switch from my smartphone to a camera, i was thinking about a DSLR, like a nikon D3200, but i barely know any basic photography functions like apperture, ISO. Then i started looking through superzoom bridge cameras like Sony's cyber-shot HX300 or the panasonic DMC-FZ70. I might learn most of the basic photography features by school year, because i need the camera for photography lessons. If any of you could give advice on one of these cameras, or recommend something similiar, that would be great.

Wildlife and nature cameras?

So, I am looking to get my own camera, as i have been using my dads Nikon for a year, and we are starting to have disagreements over it cause i use it a lot now.
I mainly take pictures of nature, like flowers or trees, and animals, like my dog or cat.
I want a camera that is $600 or less (preferably $500 or less, but $600 is doable).
My dads camera is a Nikon D5000. Not sure what either of the lenses are, but they both have manual and auto focus. One is a short range, the other is a long range.
I know my way around that camera, but am not an expert.
Does anyone have any cameras (and lenses) under $600 that is fit for outside wildlife photography, but isnt insanely hard to figure out how to work?
Thanks a lot!

How to get super macro on Nikon?

I know Canon has a super macro lens (5:1). Is there an adapter I can get to make it fit on Nikon camera, since Nikon doesn't have any super macro lenses? The only thing Ive heard is to reverse the lens and attach another lens, but this leaves virtually no depth of field(2-3mm). So whats the best way to get super macro with a Nikon?

Which one to choose between Nikon D3300, Olympus OMD EM5, Canon 1200D?

Please suggest the better one among these 3. I am a beginner and my needs are for landscapes, people, macro and night mode. Does the Olympus give better image quality than Nikon D3300? Really confused between these two.

Choosing my First DSLR Camera? - 1

I'm planning on getting my first DSLR soon and I am truly indecisive. I've been to my local electronics shop and they were somewhat helpful but they kept on pushing the more expencive models such as the Canon 7D or Nikon D5300 onto me. Would the Nikon D5300 be a truly ideal entry-level camera or is there something else? Would the D3300 be well worth it?

I'm planning to use the camera for:
-Vacation photos
-Taking pictures of my kids at their sporting events
-Scenery photos
I'm just trying photography as a new hobby

Some other cameras besides the D5300 that I am considering are the Nikon D5200 and D3300, or the Canon T3I,T4I, OR T5I. What are some recommendations?

I greatly appreciate your help! Thank you:)

Best lens for a Nikon D4S?

Make a long story short - My stepmom bought my day (hobby dog photographer) a Nikon D4S for his birthday and now wants to go buy him 2 lens when she found out it was body only. And she's leaving it to me (clueless) to pick out the 2 lenses.

What's lenses do you think he would like? His old camera is a Nikon D5200 which a 18-55 lens, 55-300 lens, & 50mm lens. Can't he just use those? I'm so lost… Help!
