Battery life on Nikon D3100?

Just bought it and was curious should I buy a back up battery for when I'm out taking pictures. Yes, I'm just starting out, I like to take pictures so I thought I would buy something more than a point and shoot.

Have u ever rent a pro Camera? is it worth rening cams?

Like 5D, 1D or c-300,SLR nikons and etc?
i need a canon 5D for about 2 days with prime lenses is it worth renting Camera and accesories or u think i should buy one?(i just need it for this project)

Nikon D90 55-220mm lens focusing with close up pictures? can you?

Okay so I have a Nikon D90. I have the 55-220mm lens. Can you take close up pictures with it? or should I use the 18-105mm?

Nikon J3 Reviews and Opinions?

I'm debating whether or not to purchase the Nikon J3. Has it improved since the J2? Is it worth purchasing?
I would hope to use this camera for the two Taylor Swift concerts I will be seeing… Does the J3 perform well in low light?
I would also use this camera in a year for my trip to Australia/Fiji/New Zealand… Yay or nay?

Can you take a picture without the big lens? (stupid question… but I'm a little unsure)… would hate to have this camera taken away at one of the concerts because they consider it "professional!"

Any reviews would be helpful.

How are those photos that you can see the extremity of the lens taken?

There are a lot of photos where you can see the photo and that circle of the extremity of the lens. I know it's something called fisheye, but there are some photos where you don't see it. I'm thinking about buying a Nikon D3100 and it has the fisheye mode but in some photos it's just a photo more rounded. I just searched for a fisheye lens and the result was the same.

I gonna shoot a film and so I am in search for lens of good zooming capabilities? I need to know what is 200mm or 300mm n how far can it just focus the objects.which one can be used for capturing moving objects. Help me out.
