So i am thinking of buying a camera and i am looking into either a Nikon D5200 DSLR or a Canon 600D Rebel T3i. I sometimes take pictures at the beach, so i was wondering if it'd be safe for the cameras to take pictures in such a sandy location. If neither of these are a suitable option for beach use, what camera would? I usually take pictures of people (portraits) and pictures of animals. Any help is greatly appreciated! SO bottom line is: Are the aforementioned cameras suitable for beach use? If not, what camera would be?

Is there a good alternative for Nikkor AFS VR zoom?
My wife has a Nikon D3100, and she wants a zoom lens (70-300mm) for her birthday. From the research I've been doing, the top of the line choice appears to be the Nikkor AFS VR 4.5-5.66 IF-ED. The best price I've seen so far is just under $600.It seems that a lot of people like Sigma lenses for their Nikon SLRs. Does anyone know of a Sigma (or other brand) equivalent for this lens?

Nikon D3100 Wireless tethering shooting to Mac?
I was wondering how I can shoot photos in my studio & have them wirelessly upload them (& display them on screen for client) to my mac. If theres a usb cord that's fine & also what program would be recommended? thanks.

SUNPAK POWER ZOOM 4000AF HELP!
Basically i bought a sunpak power zoom 4000af flash for my nikon d3100 camera. But I have NO clue how to work it! Ive put the batteries on, turned it on, and thats it. Ive NO clue what to do or even how to test the flash. I dont know how to set it up with my camera either.
Pretty desperate here! It never came with instructions, so please, HELP!

What would be a good choice for a professional camera to photograph weddings?
I have always had a passion for photography but until recently I decided I wanted to start photographing weddings, engagement photos as well as possibly special events. I want to know what camera would be a good camera with great quality to start off with. Of course cheaper is better while Im getting my feet wet but I do want to impress my future clients with good quality. Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX (VR) I am new to dslr photography. Recently, I purchased a Nikon d80 and I am pretty happy with it. However, in addition to that camera I purchased the
Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED-IF AF-S DX VR lens and I wasn't getting the results I wanted (still learning). I will be using it mostly for portraits and family pictures some even outdoors. I know that there are others lenses that would be best for this but I really don't want to buy multiple lenses right now since I am just getting into photography.So my question is this :) would Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX VR be good for portraits indoor and outdoor?

Nikon D5100 Troubles? - 1
I accidentally dropped my lens and for about a week whenever I tried to attach the lens, I would get a message on the camera that said "No lens attached". After messing around with the lens, I found the problem and I can now use the camera. The problem is it isn't adjusting to exposure or auto focusing anymore. I only dropped the lens not the whole camera. Any ideas for how to fix it? I let a friend mess with the camera some too and I don't know what settings they changed.Do I need to get a new lens or send it back to Nikon? Please help. Thanks.
