Nikon D50, Can I use FX lenses with it?

I have a Nikon D50 and I want to get a nice lens for it. I heard FX lenses are nice. Full Frame lenses, but can I use a full frame lens on my D50? Which lens should I buy for wide angle and Telephoto?

Can DX mode on Nikon D3 be custom button assigned?

I had a quick look through the menus & the manual. I assumed that DX mode could be assigned to the fn button, for example. Maybe I missed something.

I am an avid hunter but grew up under the wing of a stepparent and just have been using is .270 my whole life.My mom and him just got divorced so now i am gun shopping for myself. I acually put an ad on craigslist to purchase a used gun.
I got a response today from a gal that has a Ruger 7722, 22 magnum with a nikon scope 9x4 and she also has a Ruger M77, 7mm mag with a bushnel sportsview scope
She does not know how much a used gun of either of these would be worth to set a price for me… does anyone have any guesstimates out there on a price used for these guns if you were to sell them?

Upgrading my nikon D50?

Hello all, I'm thinking if upgrading my D50 seeing as I'm have a change of career. I'm trying to get a job doing wedding photos (which I'm starting a course on), obversely starting as an assistant, so my question is, should I upgrade my camera and also which camera would you recommend (professionals or very keen snappers)

I am using a Nikon D40x and was wondering which lens would be good to use when going to gigs.

I am going to the o2 academy at the end of the month so i will use my standard lens and a 70-300mm, but i will be going to the Ricoh Arena Coventry, to see muse in may, and was wondering what lens would be the best to use?

DSLR camera for beginners?

I've been wanting to buy one for ages and now I finally have the funds to get one I can't decide which I should get.

I've been looking at the Nikon Nikon D3100, Canon 1100D and the Sony A200K. I'm really no expert and don't really know what I'm looking for. I don't want to really spend anything over £300. I know I won't get anything fantastic for this price, but can anybody make any good suggestions for a beginners DSLR?

Help with holga turret camera lens?

I've got a Holga turret lens for my Nikon D3000 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Holga-Turret-Nikon-D7000-D5200/dp/B00ABGNDAM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1358686248&sr=1-1) and I've attached it all correctly and put it into manual mode because otherwise the screen shows that there is 'no lens attached'.
However, when I look through the viewfinder I can't see anything, it will take images but they come out completely black. There is nothing to obscure the front of the camera.
What can I do so that I can get my new lens to work?
Added (1). It doesn't matter how much i fiddle with the exposure/shutter speed, images are always coming out black

I dunno how to use this camera outside automatic. I know that is sad. But I have a book i'm going through.

I was curious about lens. mine is a nikon dx 18-55mm.

I want a lens that is perfect for headshot photography. Think of actors headshots.

now this lens is 18-55 what does it mean if the range is very large or very small?

Reversed Ring Issues for Nikon D3100!

I just bought a reversed ring mount for my DSLR, The Fotodiox 52mm Filter Thread Lens and for some reason when I attached it and turned my camera on, the screen reads "Lens Not Attached". When I clicked on the info button it read "Check Lens. Non-CPU lenses can be used in Manual mode only" So I switched it to Manual by moving the slider from "A" to "M" (maybe that's not necessarily switching it to manual… idk) So what's wrong with it and how can I fix it so that it will take pictures?
