Is the Nikon D7000 still good and not out of date?

So I have the D3100 for a year now with 3 lenses. Pretty much only shoot portraits. I plan on getting the D7000 body only and would be my last camera (not lens) since on not that "serious" about shooting, just a hobby. Thanks

I need some help and suggest from you, Well I m beginner photographer this is my first time want to invest on dlsr camera body and lenses, So kindly tell me which professional lenses is cheaper Nikon or canon.
well you guy thinking why I m asking this question because I want that type of dlsr camera which I can affordable to buy lenses. Here I have heard that Nikon lenses price are higher then canon lenses. So kindly please clear my confusion which brand should i buy.

Differences between Canon Rebel T3i and Canon Rebel T5i?

I originally had my heart set on the Canon Rebel T5i, but unfortunately the AGC (Auto Gain Control) is still a problem on this model and doesn't have any clear fix to it. This has caused me to look into the models that can use programs such as Magic Lantern (Which fix the AGC problem). At first glance I really can't see much difference. Aside from the price, are there any significant changes?
