I need lens recommendations?

For inexpensive lens.
And I mean Really inexpensive.

What are some decent lenses you would recommend that are $250 or below?

I use Nikon DX series and erlier, I bought the NIKKOR DX 35mm 1.8 for $200 and I found it to be a great lens. Any lens similar to this?

Used DSLR under 450?

I need a used DSLR under 500 to replace my aging d90. My d90 has 150k+ and i am looking to replace it with a non entry level Nikon please. Something with a AF motor would be nice but not necessary. Also a external mic jack would be nice. I am by no means a professional photographer for a living but I know how to use a DSLR. The d90 was a great camera and this "replacement" will be bought after new years or so if the d90 lasts… Thanks

Good alternative to canon flash for 60d?

Decided to repost the question with a bit more clarity as the last one invited the wrong people with attitude.

I am looking for an alternative to canon, for a flash gun and would like to know if anyone has any HANDS ON info on the best alternatives, mainly for compatibility. There are si many out there that claim to be perfect alternatives, but I wanted to see if anyone had used any, and what they were like? Thanks in advance.

Good sports lens for nikon d800?

I'm a beginner photographer (so far very little dslr experience, only point and shoot) and I'm a photographer for my school newspaper. My dad is letting me borrow his nikon d800 for taking pictures and I'll be shooting a lot of sports so I was wondering what some good quality yet inexpensive lenses would work for this type of photography. He already has a Nikon 50mm 1.4g and a Tamron sp 90mm f/2.8. What other lenses would you recommend for good basic shooting?
