Nikon D3100 Problem. Help?

Hi so I use my nikon to film videos mostly, for YouTube, and today when I was filming, the video kept shutting off by itself. And then when I switched the camera to live mode and started a new video, it wouldn't start. Basically my camera is not filming any videos. Every time I press the recording button, nothing happens. Help please?!

How to talk and what to do when you see a celebrity?

This probably sounds stupid to you, but oh well.

How do you get a picture with a celebrity if you're unprepared? For example, you're just walking around somewhere and you spot a celebrity? I don't have a smartphone, all I have is a shitty slide phone. Don't tell me to bring my Nikon around because it's just too heavy and space consuming.

How do you ask them to get a picture? I'm kind of shy and I don't want to be awkward.

What do you get signed by them? Do you ask them to autograph a piece of paper or something? What items are good to be signed?
