So I'm getting a DSLR camera because I love photography and film making and I've seen the Nikon D3100 which I'm thinking of getting.So it is good and useful and work well etc? What do you think of it?

What should i name my camera? - 1

Yongnuo speedlites for nikon reccommendations?
I am looking for a yongnuo speedlite for my nikon d3100. I cant afford a sb so yongnuo is my other option.if anyone owns one id like to hear ur opinion and review please. Which one is the best.
i prefer a ttl not a manual one

Outside concert tomorrow. Photography advice on settings nikon d3000?
I have a nikon d3000.i will be using a 18-50 lens and a 75-300 lens.i shoot in RAW
There is a Big concert tomorrow and people will be dressed in outfits ect.

I noticed when i take pictures sometimes outside or at the beach my pictures are pretty dark, or
my subject is darker then i wanted it to be. I use Spit metering so i dont get that part.
I thought with spot metering it will meter the light on my subject
(i understand how the cameras metering works thinking the work dis 50% grey)
i usually shoot in Aperture mode, between f5 or f13 if i want more or less of a blurred bg,
with spot metering and spot focus.
I usually i put it in auto mode, see the settings and go into manual and tweak it after a test shot or 2 but its hard to do this at a concert due to i have to see shots fast and snap them.
i don't have a external flash for a fill in light.should use the built in one for fill in? If so how do i get it to not be over exposed without being in full manual? I like manual but not in events because i have ti sometimes take pictures on the spot! Also doesnt having the flash on mess with the metering?
i want to take about a few hundred pictures tomorrow.close up of peoples costumes and some shots of the people on stage. i would like some advice on settings i should change or what i should use from people who have more experience in this kind of situation.
Before people talk about the manual i have it.and know the setting in the camera.im just asking advice on better understand the settings in different this siutation incase i go out there and my normal settings in aperture mode inst working.
Added (1). Btw its going to be mid day sun, around between afternoon till the sun starts setting.

Is it necessary to see yourself whilst you vlog?
Most youtubers have a camera where you can rotate the lcd screen.is that necessary.can you use a camera that doesnt have that feature.i have a nikon d3100 and id like to use that to start vlogging, please help :) ?

Can i trade in my camera at best buy? I recently just broke my Nikon D5100 (beyond repair) and i have the 3 year geek squad protection plan.Do you think i can exchange the new one they are going to give me for another camera and i pay the difference? After all, the guy at geek squad i talked to said "you can pick a new one out". Thanks a bunch.

Would a dslr camera bought from China work in the US?
If I were to buy a camera (say, Canon or Nikon) would it have the same settings as the ones from US? Would there be any difference?

I'm so Worried About my Future, help?
I'm so confused about what I want my career path to be. I know I'm thirteen, but I need some comfort and maybe some nuggets of wisdom from some of you guys.
I've always loved perfroming. I love being on stage. Acting, singing, improvisation; you name it! I audition for everything and I am starting lessons at the Alliance Theater next Saturday. But sometimes I feel so out of it (I'm sure performers don't ALWAYS want to go to rehearsal, but I feel it all the time!). Sometimes I absolutely hate theatre, and it stresses me out.
I've also wanted to do things in a recording studio. I love writing poems, and songs are pretty much poems set to a tune. I was taught how to play the guitar, and I teach myself piano. I just feel like I want to have band to be with. All those people who made history are bands. I also feel like nobody would want to listen to my music. Today's music is ALOT different than the music I like (the Beatles, The Who, The Eagles, Elvis, etc.)
I've also want to be a photographer. I take pictures with my Nikon all the time, and sometimes they get in the school newspaper. Linda Eastman is my photography inspiration, and I want to be just like her (maybe I'll marry one of the most coveted rockstars of our time? :D)
I've also had the aspiration to write.My school newspaper lets me write some articles and my english teacher tells me I'm one of the most creative writers she's ever met.
I also think God is calling me to be a missionary. I've always loved helping people. He keeps tugging on my heart to do this. I feel like if I have an earthly career I'd be wasting my life. When I go to Heaven, I want to be fulfilled and be able to smile at Jesus and say," I did it."
I'm hoping to go to Julliard for about 3 years, then go to an Oxford College to study some Theology and Liberal Arts (and maybe some photography if they offer it), then I would love to go LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) for the next 2 years.
Maybe I need a reality check and be out into focus by some you guys. This situation is making me very anxious (I am diagnosed with an Anxiety disorder), and I had a panic attack.My mom said she talk to me about it, but until then, I look forward to your responses.
