Nikon D5200 DSLR Camera?

So is this a good camera or not? I'm just beginning and I'll be using this for pictures and Film projects to create a portfolio for Colleges. (: I'll also try to get another lens to shoot from a distance any suggestions?

CAMERAS: Nikon d3100 VERSUS Nikon 1 J1?

I finally want to get a nice camera. These two cameras are in my budget and seem up to par. I know that the d3100 is probably more versatile, but a friend has the J1 and finds it perfect. I also should say that I will definitely be utilizing the video feature, so if you have knowledge about which one has better video please let me know. Thanks.

Also, if you have a different recommendation that is not one of these, but of the same caliber, PLEASE SHARE!

Where are the videos on my camera?

I have a Nikon digital camera and I'm trying to transfer everything on it to my computer. The problem is, I am only seeing the pictures, not the videos. I have no problem downloading the pictures, but the videos aren't showing up on the computer. I can see the videos from the camera itself, but not when I hook the camera up to the pc. What am I doing wrong?

Is there a problem with my nikon d90?

I have purchased a nikon d90 a month ago.i never used the sports mode before.but now when i use it im able to take only single shot in it.i was being told that the sports mode takes continuous pictures, but mine is not.i want to ask is there a problem with my camera or there needs to be some settings thats i have to change

Nikon D300 help needed?

I have a D300 that I'm having problems with. When I take photos with any lens the pics come out looking as if they have a slight effect t over them. I would best describe it as the paint daubs filter form photoshop.As you can imagine them means my pics are not coming out crisp looking anymore. I did have the camera and all the lens sent back to Nikon two years ago for cleaning. Also setting the camera back on default factory specs does not help.

Which DSLR camera to to get?

So m planning on buying my first DSLR. but m confused about which one to get.i cant make the decision among these ones. Nikon d5100 Nikon d3200 and Canon 600d.the Nikon cameras have better image quality where they dont have any auto focus motors in camera body where as one told me that the 600d has auto focus motor in the camera body.so m stuck and cant make a decision.so please help me pick the right one.r there any other better cameras with in same price range with similar image quality and a auto focus motor built in the camera body?
