I am looking for a good camera, and I mean a professional camera for taking photos. My price range is about 500$ - 2000$. If you have any suggestions please answer (note: need camera for PHOTO not video) .

Cannot get filter on NIkon 50mm 1.8 lens?
Added (1). I purchased a 52mm UV and polarizing filter for my 50mm lens, as that was what everything I was reading said would fit. I received the filters today in the mail and they aren't big enough to screw on. What am I doing wrong?

Is a point and shoot camera good enough to?

take photos to be used in 3X6 ft. Banner? My mother is a real estate agent and she wants me to take photos of various houses. I dont know if a 10 megapixel sony cybershot is more than enough or do I need a dslr?

Good Lens for Bokeh and Video?

I am looking for a lens for a Nikon d5100 that has good bokeh and is also good for video and some slider use for video. I appreciate any help. I was looking at the sigma 1.4 30mm and the Nikon 50mm 1.8 but am open to ideas.
