What type of adapter do I need?

I had an old olympus camera and I have a Panagor macro lens on it. Now I have a Nikon D80 and I can't fit the lens onto it - I need some sort of adapter. The specs shown on the lens are as follows: Panagor - PMC - auto - macro - f=55mm - 1:2.8 - No.801696. Can anyone give me a link to a website that sells an adapter that would solve my problem? I have a sony a55 and I've been looking on amazon trying to get a 75-300 or something-300mm lens for my camera and a lot of them say for sony, nikon or canon digital camera or something like that. I want to be sure it works on mine though so how can I be 100% sure that they will fit mine?

Will a D90 Charger work with a D80 battery?

I lost my Nikon D80's charger, and the D90 charger I found online is much cheaper. Will the D90 charger charge my D80 battery? The D80 battery is 7.4 volts.

Nikkor 50mm 1.8d won't shoot?

On my D7000 I have the Aperature locked onto 22 on the lense, and it's on Auto. But i keep getting the F.EE error on my command screen-

What is the perfect amount of megapixels?

I know the more megapixels the better but I also know that if you have too many then most lowlight pictures would come out bad. I was close to buying the Nikon d3200 since it's very cheap for that amount of megapixels but then I read a review about the result of it's lowlight pictures.So what I'm asking is there a sort of inbetween amount that would be good for well-lit and low-lit pictures?

What Nikon Camera Should I Purchase?

I have had a Nikon D50 for a few years and was looking to get a new camera. I'm in high school and don't do anything professional with photography, so I was thinking of maybe getting the Nikon 1 J2.Is it a large downgrade? Would it be worth it to spend more and maybe get a Nikon D7000, even if I wasn't looking to carry a large, heavy camera around? Would a Nikon 1 J2 be a huge sacrifice in photo/video quality?

What sort of Spotting Scope would you suggest for watching ships at sea?

My father in law has a beach condo and is looking for a spotting scope that would allow him to view ships traveling out along the water. He lives on the 9th floor right on the beach so his view is largely unobstructed, but I have no idea what sort of specs I should be looking at when considering a scope for him.My main concern is not having enough magnification or a small field of view that limits what he can see, but I'm not sure how the specs of the scopes relate to such things. I'm looking for some insight regarding what the specs actually relate to as well as any suggestions on brands or models that are highly regarded. Also since this is his first scope we're looking for something simple and economical before dropping a whole ton of money on something he hasn't used yet. Looking to stay under $300 if possible (perhaps that's a pipedream given when I'm asking?). On another note, his wife does have a nice Nikon DSLR, so I wonder if there are any spotting scopes that allow for camera attachments or if I might just be better off buying a really nice high zoom camera lens and tripod instead. I'm a bit hesitant to do that though, since I want the gift to be for him and not her. If there are suggestions for binoculars as well, I'd gladly take those. Thanks so much!

How to start a career in adventure photography? What kind of equipment would I need?

I like climbing mountains, hiking, and trekking. I'm thinking that I'd like to take a year or two to travel and take pictures and try to start a career in adventure photography. I met a famous climber/photographer and it looked really great.

What kind of equipment would I need? The photographer that I talked to used the older versions of the Nikon D800 and Canon 5D Mark III. I was also looking at the Sony a99. What are some good lenses to have? For example, if I went on a climb or trek and only wanted to bring what I needed? I would bring maybe a couple prime, a zoom and a wide angle? I was also looking at Sony NEX cameras.

Would this be an interesting thing to try? I don't really have a career. I have anxiety issues. I'd like to find something that will make me happy.

Light & Shutter speed aperture?

Guys I have a nikon D5100 and i'm trying to learn photography
when I increase shutter speed from 1/200 to 1/250 does this allow more light to be in the picture :)
the same goes with the aperture if I increase from 5.3 to 7.0 for example will there be more light?

IS MY PRIME LENS BROKEN?

I stupidly dropped my Nikon Prime lens this morning on the floor. The quality of pic is still fine but there is movement and blur even at fast shutter speeds… also when the camera tells me it is at the perfect exposure… the shot is actually over exposed so I have to deliberately under expose for the right effect… any ideas? and if it is does anyone know if it can be fixed ?

Macro lens for Nikon D90?

I want to take shots as close as a watch dial. I dont want to take shots where i can see the hair on a mosqito's legs. What whould be the best lens for me? I have seen the Nikon AF-S DX 40mm f2.8G but not sure if that is the right one as i dont have experience in macro lenses.My 18-200 kit lens just does not do the trick. Please help.

Difference between a 50mm and 30mm lens?

I use Nikon and take a lot of artistic-portrait pictures. I like using low f-stops to get the shallow depth of field, but what would the difference between a 50mm lens and a 30mm lens be? Would one be better than the other, or is it just a matter of opinion?

Which lens for Pentax K5?

I'm upgrading from the Nikon D70s to the Pentax K5. I've been studying photography for 3 years now and really want a new camera!

The photos I take are usually as close up as possible, so macro 70% of the time. However I do like capturing nice portrait photos which are not as close up. I really like to make the most of my lens and camera. I don't take landscape shots at all really.
