Ring flash/photography help?

Ok I just got a Yongnuo MR-58 ring flash for my Nikon DSLR.

The kit itself just came with a 58mm ring adapter and its not the right fit for my 18-55mm lens.
Does anyone have any advice or direct lens where I can get the right ring adapter?
Thanks

Nikon shooting outdoor weather conditions?

I took my Nikon D5100 outside in -2C & it was fine outside, then took it back inside & went to focus in on a plant & the shutter made a weak focusing noise & wouldn't focus. The focus points in the viewfinder were small & blurry. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my camera? Is it gonna be okay, or should I take it in?

How well do FX lenses work on DX bodies?

I am thinking about purchasing a Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S NIKKOR FX for my Nikon D5200.

I want to be able to record decent videos and get good footage of live music shows.

This lens is right in my budget, I'm not looking to spend more than $200-$300.

Thoughts?

Lower Cost Alternative to Canon EOS 5D Mark III?

I'm not interested in speed, low light, I just want a camera that can take great crystal clear amazing photos. I'm not so sure just having a high MegaPixel means that. There are other factors that tie into it if I'm not mistaken.

Heres one I'm looking at

How to reduce light flickering in Nikon D5100?

Hi everyone, I make stopmotion animations, but they are the same thing as time-lapse videos. I use a Nikon D5100, but the thing is in each picture, the light flickers. Having light flicker degrades the quality of the animation, so is it possible to keep the lighting the same? I know it is the camera because I film at night, curtains drawn, door close, and all lights off except a desk lamp. Help?
