Would this be a good laptop for my needs? (HP Pavilion 15-ab028na)?

My current laptop is semi-old and slow, with pretty crappy specs (I can safely say this even as a person that's not too knowledgeable about computer specs:P).

I want to get a new one and I've been looking around a little bit. The HP Pavilion 15-ab028na caught my eye.

I use my computer for browsing the internet, editing photos and watching shows/movies and listening to music.

I'm mostly looking for a better, faster laptop, that can handle many tabs and applications being open at the same time without freezing, for me to be able to go about my "normal" use of the laptop without having to wait for the applications to start working again.

I'm also very interested in photography (I have a Nikon D7100) and blogging and I hope to start working from home (part/full time) in the future. It's still something I'm figuring out how to go about and I'm really not sure what the future will hold for me, but I know that it's an important goal for me, so I'd like to keep that in mind when deciding on a laptop. I'm not that experienced in photo editing, but it's something I'm interested in learning, so I'd like for the laptop to be able to handle the use of Photoshop.

I'm basically looking for a good laptop that's an upgrade from what I have at the moment, that would be good for the beginning stages of when I get more into photography/photo editing. It would be a stepping stone as I'd buy something more professional once the need arises. My price range for now is about 900 euros.

Nikon D3300 Autofocus Light problem?

When in single point AF mode, besides the selected AF point, some of the surrounding AF points also gets very slightly illuminated (as if there is some leakage from the main AF point). The brightness is much less than the main AF point. I tried various modes and subjects, turning off and on the camera but the problem persists.

Is this normal? Shall I be concerned and take it to service center?

Thanks

How to make my D3100's shutter faster?

I own a Nikon D3100 camera. The problem is that when I go to take pictures there is this weird delay with the shutter. It focuses, closes and then a few seconds later the picture appears on the screen. This still happens even when the shutter speed is increased to the maximum. I have seen others with the same camera point it at the subject they are shooting and there is no delay what so ever with the shutter. It closes instantly and that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I haven't been able to use the camera for some time now because of this issue. Thanks

Tips before buying my own camera?

I wanted to get myself a Nikon (since that's the only camera brand I've heard of) for photography. I need some tips and thoughts on what I also need and recommendations. My friends started talking about different lenses and films for their cameras so I started getting confused on what else I might need other than purchasing the physical camera itself. Does it come with everything it needs?
