Any other scopes in this price range? Should I go better?

So I'm looking around for a scope for my new AR build. I'd say I'll be spending $500+ on the scope at least; probably won't have enough up for it until March of next year since I'm getting irons first. And I'm not sure about the mount I should use. But is a $500 scope good enough on a $1,500 rifle. Some are under the impression I should buy a scope that costs at least $1,500 if not $2,000. But I don't make $250,000 to $1,000,000 a year like they do.

I've been looking at the Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 6-18x 40mm rifle scope with the mil-dot. Granted I am looking at a couple others such as the Nikon M-223 4-16x 42mm but the Leupold stands out the most in my budget range. Wondering if it's any good since it is right at my pricerange. I doubt I'll be taking it out to 800 yards but is that enough or should I budget up to 1k for a scope? Am I going too cheap?

Camera upgrade Nikon d3300?

I currently have a Nikon d3300 and want to upgrade, I have kit lens and a 40 m prime. Should I buy a mirrorless, new Nikon DX or fx my budget is about 800-1000 dollars. I like to do long expos. Any help helps…

Good camera for Youtube?

I live in a beautiful area and love photography, but would also like a camera to make Youtube videos with. I have looked at two; Canon PowerShot SX530 HS, and Canon Rebel EOS T5. Would prefer it to be 400 dollars or less. If not those two then what suggestions do you have? All answers are appreciated. 5 Stars to best answer. Thank you.

Looking for new Nikon DSLR?

Hi… I've been a professional photographer for about five years now and have been looking into a new camera. My budget for both the camera and lens is under 1600$ or so… I used to practice macro but now am looking to get into portraits… My question is what would be a good nikon dslr that is not expensive as the D4 but still offers some of the same professional perks and image quality of it?
also would sticking with the lens it come with be a good idea… Or should i invest in a certain lens for portraits… Thanks.

Nikon D600 commander mode not working?

Hello all,

My Nikon D600 commander mode will not trigger my SB700s. The built in flash is going off but it won't trigger the external flashes for some reason. The D600 is in commander mode and the SB700s are in remote. All on channel one and group A.

Any idea why it's not working? Thanks for your help,
