I tried to to take drop of water, my camera setting was f-7.1 ss-1600 iso-400
tried soo many times cant get the good result.using nikon d7000

What are the settings needed to have a great shot like this?

How to take slow motion pictures Nikon D3100?

Taking pictures where people will be moving about so I need a frozen shot. Tomorrow and especially Saturday. Model Nikon D3100 DSLR camera, lens 18-55

Added (1). I want precise details on how specifically I can program my camera to do this. I've tried many things from general advice and they haven't worked. This requires someone who owns this camera or has worked with it.

INEXPENSIVE LENSES ESSENTIAL FOR NIKON D7100?

Hi good day to everyone! I recently bought Nikon D7100 to be my hobby. I am totally zero knowledge when it comes to photography. But I am determined to learn and to be a good, if not a professional photographer, someday. I have 18-105mm and 55-300mm Nikon lenses and I noticed that my indoor shots are not really that good. I read about aperture and exposure thing and became interested in buying 35mm f1.8 prime lens. I would like to ask if do I really need to shell-out another $200 for 35mm lens to achieve one of the most important art of photography which is what they call "bokeh". I have read in lots of reviews that 35mm f1.8 is really useful specially when it comes to indoor photography, though it is not a zoom lense-fixed distance.

Good quality D3100 compatable camera mic? - 1

I want to buy a good microphone to use with my Nikon D3100 camera, but I don't know what are considered good mics for certain types of things, or like what the difference between condenser mics and the other type are, or what would be the best choice in type of mic and brand. I mainly just want an external microphone so I can better record the voices of people or things that im filming that are a little too far away for my camera to hear. If anyone is some type of microphone guru and can give me the lowdown on the information im seeking, and what type of mic and brand would be best for me, please let me know.thanks.

Which camera will give a better photo, a 50x zoom camera or a camera with a 18-55 lens?

I am new to DSL Rs confused and between Canon EOS 600d, Canon EOS 550d, Nikon D5100, Nikon D3100
and a Sony HX 300
My family is asking me to buy the Sony Hx300 as the camera has to be used for domestic purpose also.

The lens which they are providing with Canon and Nikon cameras is 18-55mm and lenses with higher focal lengths are very expensive (cannot afford them, as for now) plus I am not a professional user.

Battery grip for Nikon D3100?

Does this means this battery grip can only be used when the usb cable are connected to the camera? I never own any battery grip so I was curious as I thought battery grip can be used without any usb cable connected to anywhere.
