Are there any Canon or Nikon cameras where you can take pictures the normal way but ALSO take pictures facing you? (Like the iPhone)

Does my Opteka 6.5mm Fisheye Lens meant for Nikon work for Canon Cameras?

Well i accidentally bought an Opteka 6.5mm fisheye lens for Nikon not knowing that there was a different lens for the two. (I pulled a *** cause i'm out 279 dollars) but i just wanted to know if i would have a problem with putting on the lens to my Canon /:
Added (1). Actually i bought it off of amazon, after it told me that i couldnt purchase it because i had it on my wishlist --- it was a stupid reason to not sell me it, but i went back in a rush to fix my purchase and i chose the wrong one by accident, & i didn't get a return form in the box that it came in, I live like and hour and a half from where they sell them, i could just take the train or something, but if i can save the trip than i will

What does it mean when a camera is being sold as body only??

I am looking to buy a camera as a gift. I will likely go with a used camera. Someone is selling a Nikon D7000 listed as "body only." What does this mean and does it make the value of the camera go down?
Also, what are some other things I should know about used cameras that may depreciate their value or increase it?

I am not very familiar with the camera market so please use as simple terms as possible.

Thanks!

Using SLR to focus subject and background both?

I recently shifted from point and Shoot camera (Canon A720) to Nikon D3000. I am still learning to use it… but one difference that quickly noticed is that when using Auto mode, If i take a picture of a person with some scenic background, e.g. mountains or flowers etc, it keep the person in sharp focus but blur the background… IT completely spoils the picture..Am i supposed to use a different setting to keep both person/subject as well as background both in focus?

Looking for an amateur level flash for Nikon D3000?

Wondering if any of you photographers could help me…

I'm looking for a flash for my Nikon D3000 dslr camera. I was really looking into the Nikon Speedlight 600; however, I believe Nikon has archived the item (it's available on ebay and sites of that sort but it's about double the price it was original being sold for). Based on your experiences with flashes, what's the next best flash I can get? I'm looking for a TTL flash (I heard that's the best one to start off with) that's not ridiculously expensive (I'm really looking to spend about 300, 350 $ max). I'm not a professional-grade photographer, so I"m really just looking for a nice flash to begin with. Any suggestions would be great!

Camera for taking notes at school?

I am in college and I have pretty bad eye sight so I cant read half the board even when sitting in the front. I was thinking about buying a small video camera or digital camera or maybe even a new phone to zoom in and take video and pictures.

I would like to be able to record a lecture without anybody really noticing. I also want to be able to zoom in and still have a clear picture. Also a device that records video and also lets you take a picture while recording would be really nice.

Right now I am using an ipod touch. It cannot zoom without blurring and most of the pictures it takes are blurred without zooming. (I usually take pictures of a projector screen or whiteboard)

Iv been wanting to invest in a dslr nikon d5100, but I do not think that would be practical due to its size. What do you guys think, also what other devices could I use?
Added (1). I do wear glasses they are still not good enough.

Regarding DSLR Camera?

Does Nikon D3200 and D3100 supports all type of lenses?
>>> Regarding DSLR Camera?

I wanted to get the d3200, but my brother advised me to change my decision?

He wanted me to get a Canon, as he is a canon user and these are some points of argument from him

1) Nikon lenses is much more expensive than the canon line
2) Sharing of lenses between us (but right now he's studying abroad in Germany)

What should I do? Should I switch?

Can someone help with a problem in my Nikon D70 camera?

My camera is perfectly functional besides the fact that it doesn't recognize my CF cards. I have two of them, neither work. I have read a lot of people have the same issues but I have no idea how to fix them.Is there a way to fix this myself or should I go to the shop and get it looked at? If so, how much would it cost?

Which DSLR camera is right for me?

Im on the hunt for a new camera and I'm not sure which one to get. I am still a beginner but I am looking to improve with the help of this camera. I would prefer Nikon or Canon. Decent zoom, good manual and auto focus and it MUST have a video setting. Also I am looking for a good price, so any less than 600$(Canadian) would be nice.
Please give me links to the cameras you recommend!
Thank you!!!

Need help understanding compatible lenses for Nikon D3100 camera?

I have a D3100. I went on Nikon's site but I just wound up more confused.

First, I WANT a 50mm f/1.8 lens.Is there one that will fit the 3100?

Second, I found one titled "Series E" 50mm 1.8.Is the series E compatible with a 3100?

Third, is there a site with an easy to read chart of lenses that will/will not work with any specific camera? For instance, when I upgrade - it would be nice if my lenses were interchangable.

Thanks for your help!
Added (1). P.S. I know this is a camera question, more so than photography but in electronics I got zero answers. Hoping someone with knowledge can give me a heads up - thanks!
Added (2). DeepBlue - Awesome! Thank you! I want to manually focus & that's where I was confused as I know the 3100 is not "pro" so I wasn't sure how compatible the lenses could be.
