Does anyone make a decent price digital camera without the god awful LCD viewfinder?

I don't know much about them, my last camera was a nikon n80, it was a pleasure to use. What I'm having trouble with is the screen and the viewfinder if it has one, my eyes are not great and I find it very odd and difficult to look through a viewfinder and see a miniature screen, why do they do this? I can understand the regular 2 or 3 inch screen because of the menus but, holding a camera with my arms extended produces shaky shots for me when I can't rest it on my face and even the mid level dslr cameras have unimpressive viewfinder screens. Any info I will really be thankful for.

Which are the lenses MUST have for Nikon DX camera?

Which are the lenses MUST have for Nikon DX camera? I want to see what your favorite lenses for the DX camera. Price doesn't matter at all but if you asked, then no more than 1, 500 dollars.

Prime lenses?

Zoom lenses?

Fisheye lenses?

Wide-angle lenses?

Probably Micro lenses?

Addition, I'm getting Nikkor 50mm 1.8G and Sigma 70-200mm APO EX DG OS since I can't afford nikkor 70-200mm F2.8. Thanks!

Wide angle Len for Nikon DX camera?

I wanted to buy Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 Ex-Dc HSM len for Nikon but the camera that I'm planning to buy is DX camera. This len only work for FX camera. That what I seen in the review. Does anyone knows that this len work on the DX camera?

Another question is what lens would you recommend for Ultra Wide-Angle? Price doesn't matter but only if 1, 000 or less please. Thanks!

SD card problem can't format, can't write, can't delete?

I have a Nikon D3200 camera and two 32GB SD card from Transcend. The first SD card "died" after 9 shots. (Basically, i can't take any more pictures and store it and can't format the card, can't delete the pictures.) So, I tried the second one. The second one "died" after 60 shots and the same symptom. I check the little switch thing on the card, and tried to reformat with various software. The 60 pictures stayed on there and nothing else could be written to the card. The card is rated at HCSD class 10.So, someone please help? thank you!

Rode video mics, which one is better?

I want to know which gives better sound quality, the Rode iXY (that connects to iphone) or the rode videomic (that connects to a dslr camera).

so i basically want to know which gives better quality.i own a nikon D7000 so rode mic can plug directly into it.whereas the ixy plugs into iphone.wondering which would give better sound quality which just normal speech talk like an interview, no concert recordings or anything like that.just normal conditions like indoor situations and outdoors.

Recommendations for a good & cheap tripod for Nikon D5100?

Going to be headed to the cherry blossoms in DC next month. Looking for a tripod but don't want to spend too much since it's mostly just going to be used for trips and/or portraits at home.
I don't want to spend $100. I'm assuming it should be able to get about 5ft tall at the least.
Any specific recommendations?

Why would windows live photo gallery import monochrome photos from photostream in color?

Uploaded photos via iPad in monochrome as saved in RAW format by Nikon, added them to photostream, photostream itself on all other devices remains the same, but Photo Gallery on Windows alters the photos such that the former-monochrome have data. How is this happening and what can I do to stop it?

Best battery to use in Nikon FG?

I have a Nikon FG, Nikon Fe and Pentax Spotmatic F ( I think they use all same type batteries? Not sure).My question is what is the best type of battery to purchase for them? I've read you can use:
S-76, SR-44, LR-44 or CR-I 3N.

Which would be a better scope for my Stevens .22-250?

I am deciding between a few different scopes and need some help. Using the gun for coyote hunting and target shooting. Also suggestions on which reticle to get would be helpful (realizing this may fluctuate the price). Here are the three scopes I am deciding between: 1.) Leupold Rifleman 4-12X40Mm Matte Wide Duplex ($280); 2.) Nikon ProStaff 4-12 x 40 Black Matte Riflescope (BDC) ($220); or 3.) the Nikon Monarch Riflescope 4-16x42SF Matte Mildot ($415)

I can't get my Nikon D90 to shoot video?

I go into "Live" mode, then you are supposed to hit the "OK" button to shoot video, but it does nothing. Nothing happens. The "REC" icon at the top of the screen is supposed to blink red but on my screen it is white with a diagonal line through it.
The memory card is formatted clean, nothing on it.

Does a camera flash gun require constant current or constant voltage?

A friend of mine is designing a power adapter to use with my Nikon SB900's in my studio. Capacity is 6volts 5 amps.he wants to know if i require Constant Current or Constant Voltage. Please don't advise me on using this kind of setup as I have weighed the pro and cons.thanks

My tumblr is a quality blog and i want to get either a nikon or canon camera for my birthday so i can start taking my own pictures and upload them to my tumblr! but the problem is my birthday is not until july 30 and im afraid if i wait that long to get a camera im gonna lose followers.any suggestions?

Best Settings for Nikon D80 DSLR Camera? - 1

I've bought a Nikon D80 from a friend, I been toying around with it for a while, but can't seem to get good quality pictures, I've been trying to take pictures of family and friends, but can't seem to get good quality pictures, what settings do you recommend I use to get good images from my D80?

D90 for Monocular Microscopes?

I have a nikon d90 and would like to use it for photographing slides in a monocular microscope, because our university does not provide pictures of the slides. But i can't seem to use it like a digital camera by just pointing it at the eyepiece and shooting. Any idea how i may produce pictures, preferably of high quality, by using my slr?
