How to get good non-blurry pix without flash?

I have a D7000 nikon and im not too great with working specifically on shutter-priority or apreture-priority. How can i get good clear shots without flash?
Added (1). I cant use a tripod, im taking pictures myself from different stances and angles at the event im going to.

Best performing metal-body film SLR?

*Within a reasonable price range* I guess part of it is aesthetic but also, I tend to put my cameras through tough situations, like cramming them into my hiking backpack — so a durable metal SLR would also probably fit my needs best.By 'best performing' I'm asking for the one with the best technical specs, as well as overall use. What I'm worried about is that most mechanical metal-body SLRs seem to be limited to a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000 of a sec but with my experience using my digital Rebel, even 1/4000 isn't 'fast' enough when I'm using my f1.8 lens in sunlight (ISO set to lowest as well), the light meter isn't able to 'balance out' and the pictures overexpose.

Any recommendations? I own an AE-1P but the light seals need to be replaced (possibly other problems as well) and I'd rather upgrade to a better SLR than have this one repaired. I'm not particularly attached to my FD lenses so any brand/model SLR would be fine with me, maybe a Nikon if I'd be able to use the lenses in the event that I buy a DSLR sometime in the future (?).

I recently lost our camera charger during our bus tour in Portugal somebody stole it including my sister's laptop. And now were in Lourdes, France does anybody here know if there are shops here selling Nikon dslr chargers ESPECIALLY D5100? Comments are definitely very appreciated. :)

Help with purchasing of camera?

Ive always enjoyed taking pictures of nature and many other things and now i want to get serious with this hobby and would like to purchase a decent camera but idk wat to look for in cameras im looking into nikon brand but wen i search i don't know the difference in all the features and wat they mean im looking to spend somewhere between $400-$600 help thx

Buy Nikon D3100 now or wait for D3200?

Do you reckon I should buy the D3100 now or wait and see if the successor comes out this month? I need it in time for February so I'm not sure whether to buy the D3100 now :/

Or is there another camera from Canon that is comparable? Is the Rebel T2i a better choice (not looking at price)? I know that they both record the same quality video, but the T2i has external mic input for example.

Also when is the exact release date of the D3100?

Is this 85mm nikon lense worth it?

I want to know if its worth it to buy a Rokinon 85mm F1.4 Aspherical Lens Manual for $220. I went to craigslist and called up the guy and went there to test it out.It was great, he helped me understand how to use it. I took some pictures. He showed me how much it was on ebay for brand new ones. The one he had was like new. He was selling it because he's investing in Audio music.

I have a Nikon D7000 and i took it with me to use it on my camera.
The question i have is it worth it and if I should get the auto manual one instead. I don't know other nikon 85mm and how much its worth.

please give me some advice and if you know other nikon 85mm 1.4 auto manuals let me know too.i want to know which one is best choice. And if $220 is worth it.

Plus I went to Nikon.com and looked it up, to see a price difference but I cant find much about them in the website.

Which SLR camera/s should I look at buying?

Hi :)
So, I'm looking at saving up and purchasing my first (decent) SLR camera! I've previously had a 2 $100 point-and-shoots and my parents' second-hand Fujifilm S5800 (which is getting old and runs out of battery in a matter of minutes). I'm pretty happy with majority of photos my current Pentax Optio RZ18 takes, though I would like to be able to adjust settings (i.e.aperture, ISO etc.)
Ok, so firstly, I am unsure of whether to go with Nikon or Canon (though I think I'm siding towards Canon). I'm only really a beginner, so I don't need a large, heavy, professional camera quite yet. I'd prefer a light(ish) camera and around AU$1000 (give or take).
Most photos I take are using the macro feature on my camera, so that is a preferred ability!

How to replace the zoom grip rubber on a Nikon 24-70mm?

The zoom grip rubber is now starting to get loose. I bought a new one but didn't know how to remove and install. The lens is out of warranty already. If it's easy and doable I'd do it otherwise I might have to go to Nikon and pay extra. Help anyone? Thank so much in advance.

Close focusing on DSLR's?

This is gonna sound a little complicated but once you'll get it it's easy to understand.It's about close focusing. Read slowly lol

So I got the lens 18-105 VR for my Nikon D5100. I've realized one thing, it doesn't focus close as the 18-55.

So, on Nikon's website it says that the 18-105 focuses as close "to 1.48 feet." I measured at 18mm how close I can get to focus and I was in focus 12 inches away. (From the tip of the lens) (And I also measured at 105mm and I was 10 inches away!)

I'm really considering the 35mm prime lens and it says it focuses 1 foot away. (same with 18-55, it says 1 foot) But what is it ACTUALLY gonna be?!?

Nikon or canon camera pictures of the stars?

I've been taking pictures for awhile now. But im young and still have alot to learn. I want to get a bigger more advanced camera, preferably a nikon or canon.Im not very good with lenses and all yet, so bare with me (: I was wondering if they can take good pictures of the stars and the moon? or would i have to get a special lense for that? And if so what lense? Thanks
