Which of these two cameras are best?
Nikon d3100
Canon 1100d
I'm just starting photography and I've been looking for a new camera. I've had a look at these two and was wondering which is best?
I was interested in taking photos of fast moving objects (sports) and I realise that these arent perfect for that because of the low frames per seconds.however its the best I could find for a low price. But I'll also be taking pictures of scenerys. So which of these cameras are the best for me?
Feel free to suggest some other cameras, preferably with a higher frames per second rate, but bearing in mind I'm only looking for an entry level dslr as I can't afford to go too high. I can stretch to about £400ish
Thanks for any help :)

Nikon d 7000
Canon 1100d
Canon 650d
Canon 600 d
Canon 550d

Actually i don't care Canon or Nikon (I like Canon, but think that Nikon is better), i just need that when i take moving photographs ( for example, jumping, swimming, and etc.) it would be good photo. Which of these models would you advice? And may be you can advice any model out of list? (preferring Canon or Nikon) I know in some lenses there is anti-shake system, but i want to buy camera that has anti-shake system in itself, not in lens. I think something about $ 600 -1300

Looking for a decent 50/50 DSLR bag?
Right, I'm looking for a backpack that can carry my Nikon D5100 and attached 18-105mm lens, my flashgun and my packed lunch. I believe they call them 50/50 bags.
I've looked but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. My budget is between £50 and £75.
Thanks :)

Does vaseline work to fix scratches on screens? If not, what does?
I let my friend burrow my Nikon d5100 camera (big mistake) and she got the screen (not the lens, the viewing screen) COVERED in scratches. They're these weird, short but kind of deep scratches all over the screen. If I rub my nail lightly across the screen, I can feel them.
Does the vaseline trick work? If not, what can I do to get these annoying scratches out? they're driving me insane!

How often does the NICE N88 bus run from Freeport to Jones Beach?
Trying to figure out how much time to leave for the Florence and the Machine concert at Nikon at Jones Beach tonight. The schedule online doesn't work, there's no way to reach anyone during the week and I know it runs at least an hour before the concert, but I don't know how frequently it runs. Thanks!

Between Tamron 17-50 2.8 and sigma 17-50 2.8 which is best for the Nikon d7000?
I had a 17-70 sigma which was great and sharp but when it comes to 17 wide it was soft at the corners even at f8 higher, also it takes in alot of battery usage, don't know why.Af was superb though, but i heard good things about the Tamron too but it has the vc and non vc and thats another question to go around. So anyone can help me decide on which is which on my Nikon d7000? I need sharp beautiful bokeh images. P. s Nikkors are just to expensive. Thank you very much

Best walkaround zoom lens (any brand, DX or FX) for Nikon DX camera?
At the moment, my "common focal lengths" lens is the Nikon 18-55mm kit lens.It would be nice to get something with some more length (At least 70mm but preferably longer). Having 18mm is nice, but a little less wide wouldn't be a big issue. I'd also like it if it were possible to get a wider aperture. Obviously I'd rather have a low price, minimal weight and great image quality but I know you can't have everything. What do you think is my best option if I had, say, a max budget of a little over a thousand dollars.

Anyone else jonesing for the D600?
Nikon is about to release the D600 full-frame dSLR for about $2000. The specs and features are ridiculous and I am confident it will be a significant home-run. Can't wait to get mine!

What should I spend my money on? - 1
I want to buy two things; both I would have to save for. The digital camera I have now is 5 years old and the picture quality isn't so good. I REALLY want to buy a DSLR camera. (I was looking at the Nikon D3100) I also want to buy a pair of shoes that are $90.It sounds weird asking if I should get an expensive camera or a pair of shoes but I'm torn. I don't know which one to get and I want them both very much. I babysit a lot and currently I have $50 so it would take me a while to save up to the camera. :|
Thanks! c:

Why don't they make more advanced DX lenses?
I know DX sensors are considered "beginner" or "amateur" cameras because they generally have lower quality than FX sensors. But as technology improves and DX sensors get better quality, I wonder if they could become the new standard for practicality reasons. Lenses for DX can be more compact due to the smaller sensor size, so why do they only make beginner lenses DX only? They could probably make a comparatively compact 70-300 VR if it was DX instead of FX, and it would probably be cheaper too.It seems there's always a premium for FX. Or for the size of the actual Nikon 70-300 VR FX maybe they could make a 70-400 VR DX. Speculating of course.
Anyway, I'm just an amateur so perhaps I am wrong, but anyway, what are your opinions on the matter?
Added (1). @lucienhu - My point is that you can make DX lenses smaller and cheaper. For me to get, say, a 70-200 F2.8 is impractical in price and also it's not a lens you can just carry around, it's very big and bulky. If they made a similar lens designed for DX only, perhaps it could be a little more practical. And same with the 24-70 2.8, which while still useable, is still rather big and is obviously very expensive.
