How to improve my landscape and macro photos?

Any critique would be helpful. I have been photographing for 1 yr. Currently I use a Nikon d3300. I am not sure how to improve my landscapes. My macro seem to be missing so.ething(other than a proper lenses). I also do astrophotog raphy however I am just being at that. Any help and feedback is appreciated. The top photo is how my Nikon d3200 takes the pictures… (foggy and grey) and the bottom is how they should look! Please Help! WHATS WRONG!
