Looking to upgrade my camera, any ideas?

I'm looking to upgrade my nikon D40x that i bought back in 2009. I would like to go pro, rather than entry-level, but of course i have a budget of $700 so i don't think that would be possible (however, i'm open to buying used/refurbished).

The only problem i'm having right now is that i would want it to autofocus on my nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens, and a lot of the ones i've been looking at aren't compatible. However, that's not deal breaker or anything, i could always get a new 50mm lens. I have my eye on the D3200, the only thing is the sensor is a bit smaller than my current nikon.what do you guys think?

I have a nikon d3100 and im looking for new lenses and filters?

I guess im looking for something like fisheye lenses and anything fun.l have the star filters and i love them, so fun! so im looknig for things like that. I also would like a lens that would be ideal for self portraits.or maybe flash pieces.

I am getting the D600 and I was wondering what kind of lenses it uses. Can you use the standard 18-55 from the D3100?

What are some good cameras? - 1

I really like the Nikon 1. I like that the lenses are changeable and that you twist the lens to zoom. I like how small it is and that it seems easy to use. I don't know much about cameras so that helps. I'm just curious if there are other cameras out of the market that are similar but better and/or cheaper. I don't know anything about all the specks. What should I be looking for in a good small camera?

We have a nikon slr camera now I want to be pro..now what settings did they use in model pictorial. Plus thr image is brighten when focused not even the subject but also the background is smooth and brighten. How did they do that?

Does using a camera constantly make it go down in quality?

I recently got a Nikon D3100 and I want it to last as long as possible, so I was wondering, if I use the camera almost everyday, would that cause it to slowly degrade in quality and make the pictures not come out as sharp? Does using the camera regularly make it wear out? Thank you.

How should you go about buying a lens off ebay?

I'll be buying a Nikon 18-200 VR lens for my Nikon D50, but this is the first time I'll ever have bought a lens off ebay. What should I look for? How do I make sure the lens is in good condition? Could use any tips and advice. Thanks!
