Will changing the battery on Panasonic Lumix FZ8.?

… screw up the settings? My girlfriend takes pretty nice pictures BUT is Zero with Tech…
She needs to replace the battery on her FZ8 and is worried that all her personal settings will go.
Logicaly, for example on My Nikon D50 when i pull the battery the settings stay put… is it the same deal on a Lumix? thanks

Whenever i shoot a video with my nikon d3100 the video comes out blurry?

Whenever i upload a video to youtube the quality is blurry and it doesnt look like its in 1080p.is there a setting i could change in the camera? i render the video at 1080p.how do i fix this?

Whenever i shoot a video with my Nikon d3100 and upload it to YouTube, it doesn't appear full screen.is it something i can change in the video settings or can i change it with something else?

DSLR lens designations for Canon/Nikon?

I'm very new to the DSLR business. I want a 100mm Macro lens for closeup dental shots.It must have the option to change from manual to auto focus. Must have a large depth and field of view. What body reasonably works, and what about the lens designations themselves. I'm a total ignorant and please spare no details.

For example, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

NIKON CAMERA HELP 10 pont?

I got a Nikon d2h that i ordered from ebay. I almost died waiting for it and it finally came. I tried it one. The camera said. REM. [E]. i DIDNT have a CF card and thought that camera could shoot with out CF card.like my Nikon d1.so also clicking alot of button my Nikon d2h wont shoot.Is it because i dont have a Cf CARD

Help with Shutter Speeds for Nikon D5100?

So I want to take a VERY long exposure photo.Is there a mode where I can press the shutter release button and just walk away so it keeps my shutter open for about 10 mins? I'm not talking about bulb mode, in which i hold it down for that length. I want to walk away and sit somewhere else while my camera is working its magic. Thanks
