Settings for outdoor photography using Nikond3100?

So, next week I am oing to take pictures of my friends in the amusement park. There are going to be lots of rides and carnivals there and I want to take splendid photos using Nikon D3100. Could somebody advice me please on the ISO, aperture, shutterspeed and other things? Thanks! :)

How to choose a dslr that fits my criteria?

I'm wanting to buy a dslr below $1000 at least. I wanna use it to take photos when I attend events like basketball games, or concerts. Maybe occasional family or friend gatherings, too. But I'm getting one for the more crowded and bigger occasion. I want a dslr that takes nice HD, with great focus. I don't really know the technical parts of it, but I'm thinking of reading the manual and looking up other things. Also, I want one that takes good motion pictures… Like even though the object is moving, it'll still capture it without blurriness. I'm not sure, but I think there are ones that take multiple pics in one click so you can choose with one has the best shot. Is there a camera like this? I also want it to be Canon, Sony, or Nikon, but other brands that fits my criteria will be a great recommendation, too. If you have other advice for me on how to look/buy a good dslr, pls tell me.

Can I use a Nikon 50mm 1.8D lens on a Nikon D3200?

Hi, I'm buying either a nikon D3200 or D5100 soon and I wanted to know if i can use a Nikon 50mm 1.8D, 1.8G or 1.4g lens on those cameras? And if so which lens and camera do you recommend? I want to use it for portraits photography.

Camera for videos? Good?

I am planning on getting the Nikon D5200 for video recording or many different sorts. Good idea or is there a better video recording camera for this price range? Youtube interviews is what I will be using it for on a tripod with af lens.

Is a Nikon D3 good for Macro Photography?

I'm looking into a new camera to buy and I've been back and forth between Dx or Fx… My two choices of cameras, I think are completely opposite but I'm looking at a D7100 or possibly a D3? But idk if 12mp is goo enough just incase if I want to really blow a photo up. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!

No 35mm lens for canon?

Hello, I just bought a Rebel T2i as my first Dslr, and I have the Kit lens, and the EF 50mm f.1.8 II. But while i was deciding what body to purchase, i was looking at some nikons and saw that it seemed like nikon had more options for lenses. They had the 35mm 1.8g aswell as the 50mm 1.8g and i cant seem to find a 35mm for the canon that doesn't cost like $400. When the nikons is half that. Why is that? A Good DSLR for me compared to the D3200?

So I'm looking for a better camera. Right now, I've been using a Canon ELPH 300HS, which has served me well. However, I'm planning on filming more "professionally", in both youtube videos and in my own little projects. From what I seen on Black Friday, the Nikon D3200 would be a great camera for me. The video quality seems to be superb, and overall, the general consensus is that it's the D3100 on steroids. I believe it also has a mic port and the ability to transfer files wirelessly to your computer.

One thing, however, is missing for my tastes. That is, super slow motion video capture. The D3200 seems to be an absolutely fantastic camera, and among the best available, even when going over it's actual price range. However, being able to shoot faster than my Canon 300HS's 240fps at 240p would be a big thing for me. I would like to into 500-600fps at a respectable resolution (360p?).

So, all things being similar, like great video, good pictures, autofocus. And all that good stuff, including wireless file transfer, that's pretty cool… What camera would give me the super slow motion video capture I need, and still compares well to the D3200?
