Taking DSLR to concert at Rod Laver?

I'd like to take my Nikon D7100 with me to see Miley Cyrus at Rod Laver in October. I have tried contacting Rod Laver with no response as to lenses. All that is on their website is 'professional cameras' revolving around being prohibited. Does anyone know if it's just a flat out no to DSLR's, even if they've got small lenses - or if there is a restricted focal length?

Will a CANON 35-80MM F4-5.6 lens fit the Canon Rebel XT?

I don't know much about the Canon Rebel XT, but I bought one at a yard sale that didn't come with a lens, so would this lens work for it?
Also if anyone knows any good youtube videos I should watch to learn more about this camera?

What would be the best settings for a D3100 Nikon with a AF-S nikkor 55-200 mm 1:4-5.6G ED lens, for the best clear, sharp, non blur images without a tripod or monopod.
